Dog Tired...

Too funny...the first thing I noticed about this picture was the blue blanket with the penguins in the background. I have the same one from Target and it has been designated the doggies' blanket (along with pretty much any other throw they can get their mouths on). :goodvibes

My husband is going to kill me when he gets home in the morning. My corgi puppy decided to taste my SD card. I had pics of my church fun fair on it. Is there anyway I could save the pics??? I did put the card in my camera and it said it was unusable:sad1: I just want those pic off of the card. Any advise will be great. Thanks!!!

No advice here, but good luck! That's one of the things you have to deal with when you have little monsters....uh....I mean angels :goodvibes Last year on a Black Friday special I bought a few 2gb cards and brought them home. My Golden Retriever and Chocolate Lab decided they smelled tasty and let's just say, the cards never made it into my computer (and they luckily never made it into their stomachs either - I found them chewed and scattered all over the living room).

Is the card physically damaged or just covered in dog slobber?

If it's just wet, I'd try putting it in a small airtight container with silica gel packets, or plain dry rice works almost as well. Let it dry out that way for a day then try to read it again.

The cover is cracked at the top and it has a tooth mark in the middle. Am I up the creek then??

Probably (in terms of using the card again) but I'm sure someone can recommend something for trying to recover the pix from the card. When my dogs chewed mine last year, I picked up 2 of them that somehow managed to stay in the little plastic casing when the dogs were chewing on them. The case was all dinged up, but the card still looked to be in perfect (or near perfect) condition. I swore it was going to work. I popped it into my D60 for the first time recently and I got a message that it was a faulty card...so much for that!

Now at least I know my dog is normal.? It sounds like other dogs like the taste of them too. Where I work we always say we love dogs b/c they chew on eyeglasses and the doggie parent has to spend money at our store. Making us happy and keeping us employed. I guess I lost the photos. And now I need to buy a couple more cards to keep others employed. I will never leave the cards out again. I think we should design bigger memory card that dogs can use as a chew toy. Maybe they will leave ours alone.

This is my beloved Cleo who passed away about a month ago. I miss her so much. :(

Some sad news from our household. We had to put Wesley, the one laying on my tummy, out of his misery three weeks ago. He put up a strong fight against diabetes, hyprthyroidism, and kidney failure for two years. He started to take a turn for the worse so we took him to the vet and they found lung cancer. That was on a Friday and by Saturday night he was so uncomfortable that we could not watch him suffer anymore. One of our close friends told us that putting a loved one (pet) out of their misery is the best gift we can give them after all the unconditional love they give us. We had him for almost 19 years and we miss him tremendously but thankfully we still have the other two, Winnie and Penny. I bet you all can guess who they were named after. Think bear and Rescuers.

We will miss you and love you forever Wes........

I havent posted over here in a long time. I am sorry to hear of the losses of pets. These were posted after the 1 year for me putting George down. I still miss him. And just like the day after I put him down, I was at WDW the 1 yr anniversary. It was a weekend for reminders of him. I have an awesome shot (IMHO!) that I am posting in the AK contest on the photo thread of the Tigers playing. I then went to JRs that evening and what do they do, they stamp my hand with a cat paw print! There was a few other God winks, but.. the love of that pet, that dear creature that loved us regardless of our flaws and for leaving them at home when we go to WDW... that stays with you! Again, I am sorry for your losses. Maybe they are sharing some play with George at the Rainbow Bridge :)

Here's one of my cats sitting in the window today watching the birds outside!!

This is our crazy Great Dane Madison. She's 120 lbs of pure love! She's a good girl, most of the time! This is her on Christmas morning last year after she opened her present. She loved it!

And this is Madison enjoying my daughters Christmas present! She loves that tent, whenever it's set up she tries to get in it. :lmao:
