After renting it twice I've ordered the Nikon 14-24mm! Can't wait to have it with me in the World.

Oh man, that's a sweet lens! Just by itself, it makes me want to go full-frame ...

To everyone who has posted here, I want to thank and curse you all, in the same breath! Before I started perusing this thread, I thought I was pretty good at this sort of thing. Actually, I still do -- I am pretty good. But that's no longer good enough. This thread has redoubled my resolve to up my game. Thanks, darn you all!

You guys are funny- clicking on the Flickr page of the tree shot explains the title. I don't hate the picture it's just not the shot in my head after 4 nights / 4 tries / 4 problems. Thanks for the kind words.

Here is my full frame camera setup for UWA. I am matching the DX Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 with the Nikon D700. It does not vignette from 15-16mm. This was taken at 16mm.
