Jodi - I'm in Baltimore hitting up my Philly friend for hotel information for the marathon we're training for on this thread. 53 weeks out and counting
Anywho
, he said we should probably go with the Embassy Suites on Ben Franklin Parkway or the Crowne Paza on Market Street. Once we're within range on the Hilton site I will check it out for us
.
Disney Wench - Travel Safe and glad you had a great time in the World. Did you book the bounceback
Mike - Thanks for asking about my race
. I managed a 1:25:33 per Garmin for the 15K which is a 9:04 avg min/mi. The course has two BIG hills which is bad but the post-race party was great. Hot homemade soup, pizza, open fire, etc. Yes, I am in Baltimore today and tomorrow so I hope to be back posting again once I am home. Have you got in any runs
?
Chester -
for your knee. I am probably not the best person to offer advice
on this issue but please try to rest it as much as possible before you have to ramp up the mileage. I do like your revised training plan and I hope it works well for you.
Dave - I hope you're doing well and please check in with us when you're able
Cindy - Once again, I should not be speaking of knees, but I do hope you're able to manage the issue so you're not doing any damage with the running
.
I broke it to DH that I will be taking a solo trip to WDW for the Minnie so he is on board. I took the day off today from training with the race yesterday and traveling today. I am hoping to get up early enough in the a.m. to run before my meetings.

Wow!! Great job on the race! I guess you're even faster without all of us bothering you, trying to chat you up.
. Good thinking to baby that thing
.
. I think I'm going to do as you & try & run 5x a week.
. Good for you, woman. I sorta missed the whole thing that you were going to run a 15k. When & where was it
. Must have been in my flu-shot fog that day!
. Get home safe! And stop running so dang fast, be careful w/ that stress fx.
is done already!
. I run in Saucony Grid Stabil 6 & they have soooo helped my shins! You may want to tell her to pick up this certain book
& perhaps Sun.
. It was 60 here, too. Nice for a run. What is it that we never feel like we're pushing hard enough unless we're unable to articulate a sentence?
I honestly and truly have no idea.
Glad you're going to take it easy with the knee for a bit.
) does help with keeping my hips as loose as possible.
