I declare Sundays Laundry Day! (did anyone else realize that they didn't spell laundry right for the smiley code...just saying...)

Mandy: Date nights where we get to order in and watch a movie sometimes are the best nights! I love date nights! Actually-true story...The guy I work with on Friday is so well trained that one day someone said that DF was working Friday night and he said, "Oh no he is not! It's date night! He will not be working tonight!" We get a couple every month...but last month has been difficult...on a number of levels.

Katie: Great. Thanks for the confidence...I DONT WANNA GET UP THAT EARLY!!! I usually have to get up at 0500 to get to work at 0700, an hour away...the extra hour is really going to throw me off. Oh well! It's money right? Money = more wedding stuff...I just keep telling myself that...it makes it easier.

Hi Girls...
It's Sunday! I'm doing laundry again...Still dog sitting. I haven't been home in 10 days and miss DF terribly.
What is the latest? Well, lets see. I got a ticket! I had a headlight out and got what is called a 'fixit ticket.' Basically I had until then next business day to have it fixed and then I have to mail all the paperwork in. This was on Friday. Saturday I was at work-which is a 45-1 hour commute from our apartment. DF sends me a text message that says he is on his way to pick up my car and drop his off so that he can get my headlight fixed. Of course this gave me the freedom to brag about what a great guy I have.
He also told me that FSIL and FBIL would be in town and that we would be doing dinner. Um..ok. I approach these meetings with caution. I feel very out of place sometimes. Call me silly-but she is ALWAYS dressed better than I am! Anyway, we got ready and I had to go to the ATM. I had put my cell phone down on the coffee table and DF had to go to his bank and I had to go to mine-his was farthest from the apartment. I had put my cell in my purse-but had left my purse in the car when I had run into my bank. I got back and saw that DF called 3 times. UTOH! He hates it when I forget my cell. AND he knew that I was leaving dinner and going to the house I was dog sitting. I called him back and he said that he was headed to the apartment b/c he was afraid that I left my cell at home and would need it later. He had just pulled into the driveway! (remember he was farthest away from the apartment and closest to the restaurant.) Again...how lucky did I get???
During this phone call he asked if he should bring his wedding band b/c he wanted to show his sister and BIL. I told him no...but then re-considered. I told him if he wanted to it was ok and he could. I think he just wanted to be validated that he chose a cool ring (other than my opinion )
We went to a hibatchi place for dinner. So, luckily there was a bit of a show to watch and not a ton of talking. I wasn't in the mood to talk wedding or anything else...mind you I've been up since 5AM to be at work at 7...So, I was in a mellow mood. Dinner went on...DF showed off his ring...We hung out for a bit...we left in separate cars.

A couple of things...Yes. I know I have to post a pic of DF's ring! BAD DIS BRIDE!

Second, I had to post some of the great stuff DF does. I know that lately I've been a bit of a downer. The drama has been a bit much and I know it isn't over. I am sure there will be more to come...

Third, my mother and his mom has become friends on facebook. This scares me...a lot! I'm not super comfortable with this, but they will have to get along at some point b/c they will be required to be at family functions together at some point. At least that is how my mom sees it and she feels like they should get to know each other and get along...That's just my mom. I love her for it...but...I'm just not feeling it right now.

Just my update for the week...More soon! (especially pics of the ring!)

Your guy definitely sounds very awesome, and extremely sweet! I'm glad you have some positives to post about. I know what you mean about waking up early and then being cranky. I get crabby sometimes, and DF bought me these really long socks with crabs on them, that I have to wear when I'm crabby. And it's so silly, that it makes me less crabby, hehe. I'm glad your man is proud of his ring. (which I can't wait to see! )

Your guy definitely sounds very awesome, and extremely sweet! I'm glad you have some positives to post about. I know what you mean about waking up early and then being cranky. I get crabby sometimes, and DF bought me these really long socks with crabs on them, that I have to wear when I'm crabby. And it's so silly, that it makes me less crabby, hehe. I'm glad your man is proud of his ring. (which I can't wait to see! )

Sorry, I've been behind. This new job thing is killing me-I had to be at work at 4:45 AM!
On a good note...another job in my field came open and I applied for it...Keep the pixie dust coming!

Any time befroe 6:00am should not exist... And even 6:00-8:00am should just be a slow stretching getting ready to think about possibly considering whether or not it's almost time to get out of bed...

Thank you for the pixie dust! I really hope this all works out. My fingers are crossed. The dept manager told me that I interviewed really well for the last position. I'll take that as a good sign.

Thanks! Right now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for the interview! BUT the same agency interviewed me for a position I didn't have any of the qualifications for...So, I'm pretty certain I'll at least get an interview for a position that I do have the qualifications for.

As for plans this weekend...We're gonna go hit some golf balls. I need to study for a certification exam...and prep for the interview! And catching up on sleep. I need to post some stuff on ebay...and post some pictures on here...WOW! Busy weekend!

Hi!~
Good freaking morning...its 0436 here and I have 5 minutes...Yup I'm up super early-work starts at 0530...This is nuts...but besides the point.

DF and I have had some really good conversations lately. We are getting everything in order-Everything from finances...to...health insurance...to...I don't know what is next...Heck, he is even doing the dishes after dinner b/c most days I am too exhausted to keep my head up...or wait to eat dinner.

The health insurance bit poses a bit of a problem...but DF looking into what it would cost if we said the I do's before the DFTW and said wouldn't kill us financially. (We work for a small mom and pa company...they don't have a lot of employees...rates are higher...you get the point) So, I said "Well, even if we did that we still get a Disney Wedding...right???" He replied that we would still have a Disney ceremony...not sure if it would be called a wedding!!! So, there we have it.

I'm still waiting to hear from the other job I applied for that has health insurance...I thought I would hear something soon...I hate waiting. BUT good things come to those who wait right?

Ok off to study for a major exam for a half hour before I go to work...*sigh* I have so much to update you girls on...and I'm so sleepy that most weekends I just try to keep up with the house and stuff...and sleep...and...you get the point...

Please keep the pixie dust coming!!!

I was a bit confused by your post on health insurance, until I remembered that the US health insurance is waaay different to the Oz one! Personally I think it totally sucks that it's up to your employers to provide you with your health insurance! Here it's provided by the government and if you want extra good cover you can buy it, and it's reasonably priced.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Personally I think it totally sucks that it's up to your employers to provide you with your health insurance! Here it's provided by the government and if you want extra good cover you can buy it, and it's reasonably priced.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Yeah our health insurance system is ridiculous...Heck the prices of coverage makes me sick...and for what you pay you aren't getting much if you purchase a plan for just one person...CRAZY!

DF and I are making progress...and I'm very happy he does the dishes...
I'm also glad everyone likes his band...Like I said I wasn't sure how the whole thing would turn out...but it looks great and he loves it! That is all that matters. We even had to bring it to dinner with his sister and BIL to show them!
I'm up at 8:00. The new job is what has me so tired! Most days I have to be up at 3:30 AM!! Seriously...way too early!

I'm off to the farmers market for fruits and veggies...YUM!
