"Personally, I think I would make a great stripper!" 8/10 The End

The CoCo Plum looks like a great resort! (even if the rooms do look like the set of 3's Company ). "Come and knock on our door, we've been waiting for you" :rotfl:

Come and knock on our door.....
We've been waiting for you......
Where the kisses are hers and hers and his,
Three's company too.

Come and dance on on our floor......
Take a step that is new.....
We've a loveable space that needs your face,
Three's company too.

You'll see that life is a frolic and laughter is calling for you......
Down at our rendez-vous,
Three's company, too!!!!!!

YIKES!!! I feel like I need a baby monitor for this TR, because every time I log on I feel like I'm waaaaaaay behind.

It's funny, because my parents grew up in Winston-Salem, and when you said you were at the original in Spartanburg, I was like "wait, then...how have I been to the original in Winston???" Not that the ORIGINAL original is there anymore...they decided to tear it down and rebuild a new one in the same spot, though for the life of us my family will never know why :confused3

Your pictures are making me long for the beach. But it's all okay, because I'm going to my roommate's house this weekend, and she lives.....at the beach!!!:cool1: I will confess, I only wear SPF 4....I like tanning. And if I wear anything higher powered, I don't tan at all. Oh what us girls are willing to risk for beauty:rolleyes:

I am glad you had some serious postage today though. I needed to submerse myself in happy other family's lives-ness. My boyfriend and I broke up last night, and in case I wasn't already upset enough, Disney moved the Princess half-marathon up a week so that it's no longer on my Spring Break. I threatened to transfer my loyalty to Universal:scared1:

Just wanted to say that I am really enjoying your trip, your family is great! I think I may just have to use our DVC points and book Vero Beach for a change of pace.

Yay! Now that I'm home I can see the pics! :thumbsup2

I really want to go stay at that place after they get the oil disaster cleaned up... It's so nice to see an affordable place where all 5 of us will fit comfortably :goodvibes

Great pics! I'm so glad someone directed you to Fort Zach- it's definitely the best beach on the island, and they were right, tourists don't necessarily find it. :thumbsup2

Don't quite know how to respond to the "what was it like" question. To me it was just normal because that was where I grew up, but it certainly involved lots of boat trips and beaches, which was very nice as a kid. It's a great place. :)

great updates!
Im so jealous, Margaritaville- KeyWest is one of the only ones I have not been to. Beach looks awesome:cool1:
Great fun!!

Dawn, thanks so much for the updates. Looks like a great little spot the local sent you.
Sorry u r under the weather.

get better.

Dawn - speedy recovery!

Love the pics from Key West. We stopped there on the cruise, but you probably got a much better feel for the place. Can't wait to hear more of your stories.

Wow so many installments I love it!! These updates bring back great memories for me since just last year my boys and I (DH's bleep of a boss wouldn't give him the time off!!!) went with my parents to the keys. It was awesome and we stayed at a condo just a little further down the road from the Coco Plum! It looks like your had an amazing time!
anyways your TR is awesome I just love reading it.
Can't wait for more and I hope that you are feeling better!

Dawn, I hope you are feeling better!

Love the updates and the pics! I always have to use sunscreen or I burn within 20 minutes of sitting outside, which is no fun at all. It looks like your family has such a wonderful time together. Love the Jimmy Buffet/virgin Starwaberry Daquiri story - of course your sons would do that to you! Too funny! :lmao: Looking forward to more!

Dawn, hope you're feeling better today! Love your trip reports - we've never been to the Keys although DH and I have talked about it - it looks amazing. Stealing my drink is definitely something my kids would do to me too ... of course, I'd probably be doing it to them as well! :lmao: Keep it coming, I love reading about your adventures!

LOVE Key West!!! Margaritaville is one of my most favorite stops there- yummy!!! Thanks for taking us with you!

And no, I have never read any of your other TRs, you are new to me, and I am sooooooooooo excited because I have the other two to keep me busy while you write this one.

Hope you are feeling better today-

Ughhh hope you are feeling better today Dawn!!:hug:
Okay enough with the bikini pictures!! :rotfl2:;)
Key West looks so pretty...love the water. I bet it can get pretty busy with cruise people when the ships come in. ::yes::
I want those nachos NOW!! I will settle for just the guacamole though...:)
Your creamed eggs sound good....I have never had creamed eggs before. I am not sure if I have ever had anything creamed before...except for SOS chipped beef :rotfl2:

Tracy

Those nachos look wonderful!
I am not a huge fan of nacho's from chain restaurant's but these were good and 2 have 2 appetizers literally feed 6 adults (of all sizes :rolleyes1) it was a good deal!!
Oh, and I HAVE to know where Taylor's black and white bathing suit is from. I LOVE  it!!!!
That girl has more suits than I have undies...then again - if I looked that good in them - I would as well!!!
Your pictures are making me long for the beach. But it's all okay, because I'm going to my roommate's house this weekend, and she lives.....at the beach!!!:cool1: Take pics!!!

. My boyfriend and I broke up last night, and in case I wasn't already upset enough, Disney moved the Princess half-marathon up a week so that it's no longer on my Spring Break. I threatened to transfer my loyalty to Universal:scared1:
First - what happened to BF and 2nd - when is the Princess 1/2? I am debating/toying wogging it next year...
Just wanted to say that I am really enjoying your trip, your family is great! I think I may just have to use our DVC points and book Vero Beach for a change of pace.
Vero is a blast and one of my kids very favorite places...they want to go back next year for sure to Vero for a few days!!
I really want to go stay at that place after they get the oil disaster cleaned up... It's so nice to see an affordable place where all 5 of us will fit comfortably :goodvibes
It is a good deal - p.m. me for the details on how to get a discount through me if you are serious!!
Great pics! I'm so glad someone directed you to Fort Zach- it's definitely the best beach on the island, and they were right, tourists don't necessarily find it. :thumbsup2
It was amazing and I would like to go for a whole day next time when the water is warmer.
Don't quite know how to respond to the "what was it like" question. To me it was just normal because that was where I grew up, but it certainly involved lots of boat trips and beaches, which was very nice as a kid. It's a great place. :)
How old were you when you moved? If older, I bet you met your share of tourists that tried to sweep you off your feet!!!
great updates!
Im so jealous, Margaritaville- KeyWest is one of the only ones I have not been to.
Great fun!!
I have only been to Key West and Universal Orlando...
Dawn, thanks so much for the updates. Looks like a great little spot the local sent you.
Sorry u r under the weather.

get better.
I did not get out of bed more than 10 minutes today until 2 p.m. - not a good sign.
Dawn - speedy recovery!

Love the pics from Key West. We stopped there on the cruise, but you probably got a much better feel for the place. Can't wait to hear more of your stories.
We were there just one day but I would love to next time go twice in a week. Not sure we would stay overnight due to the expense - on the way back we got to Marathon in 45 minutes - much less traffic.
It was awesome and we stayed at a condo just a little further down the road from the Coco Plum! It looks like your had an amazing time!
anyways your TR is awesome I just love reading it.
Where did you stay?? Thanks for the kind words - I wish I could promise a last updat on Key West today but I am not thinking so...
Love the updates and the pics! I always have to use sunscreen or I burn within 20 minutes of sitting outside, which is no fun at all. Carsyna nd I burned the worse but Treyner ended up peeling which is unusual. At the end of the trip - Taylor who started out the darkest - became the lightest! :lmao: It looks like your family has such a wonderful time together. Love the Jimmy Buffet/virgin Starwaberry Daquiri story - of course your sons would do that to you! Too funny!
Treyner was reading it yesterday and was laughing again at my gullibility. Dan said - "I had nothing to do with it.." yesterday too - then I reminded him of guilt by association. :rotfl2:
Dawn, hope you're feeling better today! Love your trip reports - we've never been to the Keys although DH and I have talked about it - it looks amazing.
I do not think we will go to WDW again without a few days at the beach.
And no, I have never read any of your other TRs, you are new to me, and I am sooooooooooo excited because I have the other two to keep me busy while you write this one.
Let me know when you finish them!!

Okay enough with the bikini pictures!! :rotfl2:;)I did not know my body would make you jealous... :confused3 ;)
I have never had creamed eggs before. I am not sure if I have ever had anything creamed before...except for SOS chipped beef :rotfl2:

Tracy

I will take pics of it next time I make it so you know what to expect - it is yummy!!!

This kidney infection is not going away and I am so tired from all the meds...ugh.

At 19 years old, we are an old married couple. We don't go out on dates, and I felt like we were in a rut. He talks about marriage...I'm not sure. I want to go out and have fun and need to be able to say he's the best, but I have to have something to compare it to. It was a very tough decision, and the past couple of days I've been a wreck. His sister asks why we don't just get back together since we miss each other so much. I told her she'd understand when she got to be our age.

The princess is February 27. Registration opens July 6.

Didn't 3's Company have one of the best theme songs?? What happened to tv theme songs(with words) anyway? They should bring 'em back! :hippie: Feel better soon :flower3:

Dawn -

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. But you sure knocked out a bunch of great updates. The water in Key West looks so amazingly blue. One of my coworkers moved there a few years ago and she absolutely loves it! She will never come home. Works at some small hospital there (or the only hospital there) :confused3

Those nachos look amazing. I agree with Tracy - give me that guacamole! Yum! Those drinks look yummy, too. Too bad the kids sucker punched you and stole your drink. Darn kids! :rotfl:

Oh yeah - Brian has the same bathing suit as Baylor. Kohl's maybe???

You are tooo young to be stuck in a rut! I was married at 23 - I know! I broke up with my then bf now ex-husband for the same reasons at your age. I wanted to experience life - he did not:confused:! It was too easy to get back together than try the single thing again and take chances with other people. I wish I had stuck to my guns but no we got back together, got married and then divorced 16 years and 3 kids later. I would never trade that time because of my kids - but it was terrible:guilty:.... Now I am older and so much wiser, my new husband is the love of my life and I would not trade him for the world! Listen to your inner voice, have fun while you can, and settle down when YOU are ready - life is toooo short to be stuck with someone. Good luck and be brave!:)

Here are some great pics of Mother's Day w/ my Dad, Ace & Kizzy and Skyler at the park I had wanted to share. Carsyn took all the artistic looking ones and most of the others as well.

There is another one I want to post of my Dad that she took that is amazing but I need to ask her first.
