Is this a girl thing because my daughter is only 6, yet I find this sooo true of her??

So happy for Carsyn, your little girl is growing up!!:flower3:

btw Dawn I went back and read your last years report, Love it. I would have been like Treyner and been PO'd at the guy at the bus stop who couldn't help but show his stupidity. And would have been like Carsyn when those girls were making fun of her brother. The way I see it is thats my family (I have a sister) and I can make fun of her as much as I want but it better not be anyone else doing it. I can't wait for the rest of this years TR. Your writing just keeps me reading. Too bad your TR is now the reason I didn't clean house today lol. And sorry for posting so many times back to back instead of all in one post... I'm a little scatterbrained sometimes. :rotfl:

Total Lurker coming out of lurkdom.:worship: I love, love, love your TR. (all of them, actually) You're such an excellent writer!

My guess is 3620:yay:

Typing one handed cus Jack-Jack (ds2) is curled up in my lap but you're welcome :goodvibes and put me down for 4500.

My sister has the Chinese symbol for Faith on the back of her neck but it looks like nothing I can find. Some guy off the streets in Hawaii who was doing henna tattoos, gave her a deal on the real thing.

This is my sister who is supposedly smart not the nut job one.

Since we cannot find it's equal, I say it says eggroll.

That makes her mad.

It matches the humpback whale looking thing on her ankle that was supposed to be a dolphin though! She has the most hideous tattoos.

I should get a picture and show it here so you can tell me if it is legit or maybe means mushu pork. I am hoping for the latter.

Now, you have me wanting a new one with Chinese characters. Hmmmm...

Haha, post the picture up! I've heard so many stories of people that got Chinese character tattoos that are supposed to mean one thing but actually mean another.

I think it's nice and all, since one character in Chinese is sometimes less ink than a word in English, and may look more "artistic", but I really don't think people should get tattoos of languages they don't understand.....

Also, CONGRATS ON CARYSN AND HER DATE FOR THE PROM!:cheer2:

I remember my prom....I changed my dates 3 times before the actual prom! And this is the story!:cool1:

The main reason is because prom is pricey, and is only held for the graduating class for most Canadian high schools, unlike US schools that have proms for all the grades.

Being pricey, they ask students to commit to going about 3 months in advance, and to have tickets fully paid and also have decided on a date by then.

I started out as single, so I asked one of my ex's to be my date. We broke up on pretty good terms, so it felt ok asking her. But about 2 weeks after she accepted, she found out she actually promised to go to some other girl's prom and it conflicted with mine....my ex was pretty popular.

So, second date, I asked one of my good friends. Ok, more like begged. And I also really liked spending time with him, so he seemed perfect.

THEN after that, another friend of mine asked me out and we started dating. My friend said it would make more sense to bring my boyfriend to the prom, so that was date number 3.

Unfortunately, the relationship wasn't going too well and by prom, I just spent most of my time hiding from him in the bathroom....The dates of the other girls in my class were his friends, so he wasn't lonely. I still had a great time, just not with my prom date

Also, I'm not going to try with that miles thing cause I think in kilometers and I'm just no good at this stuff.

Treyner and Baylor both got their ears pierced at around 2nd grade I want to say - just one - and then got the other one done for Treyner in HS and Baylor this past summer.

I grew up in the 80's and the guy ear piercing rage...for me it is no big deal. I like the look actually. Treyner has a tatoo in mind - I think he will get it this summer and Baylor...I am sure will get one as well.

I have 2 - one on my right foot below the ankle on the outside. It is a moon/night flower for my grandparents - about the size of 1/2 a 50cent piece since it is just a crescent moon.

Then on my back - a celtic/crown ornated cross with the kids birthstones in it as the jewels.

Reminds me I need the foot one re-done - color on the feet fade and it is about 10 years old - maybe a tad more.

My back I had done after I was in the hospital for Mothers Day. Sick of being sick and sick of missing my kids so I wanted something for them to always be with me.

If I get one more - it will be something to represent Dan and I.

I have told the kids that if they get one to make sure they take their time, look at the artists work ahead of time and that I would like it to be meaningful to them - not a Ferrari cause you think they are cool at 20 sort of thing.

In the end though - it is their bodies and I have little input after 18 and esp. if I am not paying their way. So I figured start instilling in them my thoughts now while I still have time.

Well we have something else in common - I have 3 tattoos. My first one is on my right leg just above my ankle, I call it my divorce tattoo. My 12 yo dd drew it. It is a heart with a rose in it. My ex was very against tattoos so this was my sign of freedom from his iron grasp on me. My second tattoo I got when I married my new and improved hubby. It is, what some refer to as a "tramp stamp", I don't, but it is a vine with purple flowers and a monarch butterfly, symbolizing my metamorphasis from my life with me ex to my new life. My third is a black sun with purple highlighting on my inner right arm just above my wrist. My daughter thought this up for me in disney last year, my loving step mother had just passed away suddenly, so it is my tribute to her. I am waiting for my last one, probably a hidden mickey type thing on my foot, not sure yet, nothing has struck me yet. You should post some pics of yours!:)
