I wonder if the #s are on the bricks, if we were in the general area of were our brick will be set, do you think we would be able to determine about were our brick will be set without the map.
I am wondering about the map and certificate too, but if you look at post number 37 on page 3, it shows a picture of an actual brick and shows how the number system works on the brick.
. Either way, we're disappointed, but understand that it's just Disney for you.I am really confused....TheycallmeTiggs...did you end up getting one or not??? how do we really know?
I also have an email/number but no cert/map yet. so who is to say that any of us are really getting actual bricks...did I miss a post....![]()
We faxed ours on the 30th and did not make the cut off (no charge on our cc) and while I am disappointed I am not surprised. We should be used to this if we are regular disney fans... this is just how they seem to run things at the world. No one knows what is going on, the left hand and right hand don't talk and the internet helps and hurts us in times like these. Perhaps due to the overwhelming response they will decide to finish the walkway and charge $500 a brick. Either way, we're disappointed, but understand that it's just Disney for you.
Yes, I did get a certificate and a map. The map is actually posted on this thread. And what do you mean by how do we really know?
I'm currently awaiting a new map and certificate(s) as my brick location has changed.
It took 10 days from when I faxed my application to receiving the documents in the mail.

these were the thoughts in my tired delirium when I was reading pgs 30-45 last night.

I received my email to say that we got our brick....
Our number is: WA1769
Forgive me if this has been asked/answered before..... but is it assumed that the greater number of bricks on your list for this area is probably due to the heavier traffic in that area?.... that there were a lot of "broken" bricks to replace?

As far as I know Disney has never stated that they were replacing broken bricks. They have only ever said that they were "filling in empty spaces". It's possible that in the last months of the program the bricks were selling slowly and maybe not all the spots were filled in the first place. Someone mentioned as well that maybe people asked to have their brick taken down (Like if you got a wedding brick then got divoriced). I also still think that they may be adding extra rows in some places to accomodate everyone if the bricks were truely oversold, and that would account for alot of people being in one section.
Did you just get the email today? When did you send your application? I don't think anyone has discussed why there seems to be more bricks sold in one area than in another area. Congrats!!![]()
