People waiting in line say the darndest things!

My DD and I were on TOT. Now during the ride we had a man sit beside us probably in his mid 40's. Well he is talking to himself and reassuring himself it will be over soon. Well as soon as the doors open and the dropping started he was screaming. I mean really screaming "Let me off", I was worried he was going to burst a blood vessel. I told him it was almost over and asked if he was okay. He stopped screaming and ever so calmly said he's fine this is his favorite ride than contined to scream let me off the rest of the ride.

:lmao: Weird, but.. :lmao:

Well, in Spanish the character is called Igor . Maybe her native language was (like mine) Spanish... On the other side of the coin, sometimes I have to make an effort just to say "Eeyore" when thanking him (it is not just "natural" :-) )

Regards,

Luis

That is possible. Although one time I was at Dave and Buster's with my boyfriend and our friend. we were playing that trivia game, and the question was "what is the name of the donkey in Winnie the Pooh?" the choice were Eeyore, Ivan, and Igor. My friend went to hit Igor as my boyfriend and I are diving for the Eeyore button screaming "NOOOOO!" He was the only one who got it wrong, and was like "Wha? OH yeah, oops."

Last month after we got off Star Tours some mom was telling her kid they needed to hurry up and get out of DHS before the rain started. The kid says "Mom, it's not going to rain... I can feel it in force!"
I guess this padawan had much to learn about the force, less than an hour later, it started to pour.

I have one... My Boyfriend and I were next in line to see Mickey at his house in Toontown fair. There was a family in front of us taking their turn with Mickey. When the family was done they left, and we went towards Mickey for our photo. Jus then the little girl (about 4 years old) runs back to Mickey and says to the CM, "I forgot to tell Mickey something important" So the CM tells her to go ahead. She runs up to Mickey and says "Rachael loves you" and giggles and runs away... it was so cute..... My BF always says "now that's what I call a good friend" We always think about how before she left of vacation, Rachael told her to "tell Mickey I love him"!:cutie:

This was sad and funny at the same time.

My DD's were coloring at the Canada Pavilion while DH watched the movie that makes the rest of us dizzy.

Some girls (maybe 18-20YO's) come up to the table where the "natives" are working and they get the tag for the masks and then ask:

"Are you from the France Canada or the America Canada?"

The two girls at the table look at each other and back to her.

She repeats the question again more slowly ~ this just elicits stares from the two girls.

So she says it again more slowly still and louder.

One of the girls finally says "I don't understand"

So the girls walk off saying "They must be from the France Canada because they didn't understand what we were asking"

I about pee'd my pants!!

We are also big repeaters of things we hear people say that make us giggle.

I have a couple from last week.

We were in San Angel waiting to be seated when a man walked in with his maybe 4 year old son. The little boy took one look at the volcano and started to get very upset and said that he didn't want to go in there with that volcano. Hewas saying I don't want to go in there! Volcano! He thought it was real. We felt bad for him but it was so cute!!!

We were at BWV waiting for a bus. A bus for AK just pulled away when from behind us we heard some woman yelling at the top of her lungs "STOP, STOP" . Well of course everyone one at the bus stop turned to look at her. She ran to the bus dragging her toddler and was still yelling. The driver stopped and we think he was trying to talk to her about something but she just wouldn't listen to him. We don't know if he was telling her he couldn't pick them up once he left the stop or if they wanted to go somewhere that he wasn't going. Finally he just threw up his hands and let her on the bus. We felt so bad for her family. That had to be really embarassing for them.

One more.
We were on the bus from MK going back to BWV at 11:30 at night. There was a group of people on the bus who were locals. The woman was joking about how they parked at the Boardwalk earlier in the day and told the guard that they were just going to be having brunch. We were all hoping that when they left they would have to pay for parking and that they didn't get away with trying to cheat the system.

I was waiting in line to check our party in at Goofy's Kitchen (the Disneyland equivalent of Chef Mickey's). I was behind a family with a couple kids. They were pointing to the character in front posing with guests for their picture. They kept saying over and over, "Look! It's Goofy! It's Goofy!" to their kids. It was actually Pluto they were pointing at -- wearing an apron that clearly said "Pluto" on it! I guess some people can't read!

PHXscuba

This wasn't in line or even at Disney, but along the line of above...My grandson, who was 5 at the time went with us to Myrtle Beach. We had rented a 7th floor condo on the ocean.

When we opened the door he ran in ahead of us took one look out the patio doors at the ocean and said..."this is the best day of my life". It was the cutest thing.

Oh, that one made me really smile!;) How cute is that?

We just got back and I actually have a couple!

While waiting in line for "Finding Nemo: The Musical" at AK we were next to a little boy waiting with his aunt. We were in the shade just sitting so there wasn't a lot of movement. The boy's uncle comes back to the line after getting drinks and the little boy tells his uncle, "Don't get to close or I'll throw up on you"

Another one was while we were waiting for the bus back to our resort after EPCOT evening EMH. There were these two girls with their grandma and they were talking and trying to keep themselves busy while waiting. At one point one of the girls has this conversation with her grandma:

Girl: Do you know what my favorite kind of people are?

GM: Favorite kind of people?

Girl: Yep, I love old people.

GM: Old people?

Girl:Yep, I love old people. They're cute like Betty White.

While waiting in line at BTM, someone had a gas problem, a young boy yell's out, for God Sake who ever is farting, please go use the bathroom, your killing us.:lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:
This is a great one! I can't wait to come back from our trip in September with stories like these.

When I was getting into the car to head to MK the other day, there was a family getting into their van across the way. The little boy in the family said "I'm going to Disney World! My dream DID come true!":goodvibes:

When we got home, I was talking to my hairdresser about our trip.

She has been to WDW several times. When I mentioned AK, she said, "Well, we've never been to Animal Kingdom. We've been to Epcot...and the Studios...and to Disney World....but never Animal Kingdom."

I can't help but wonder if she thinks these are all separate theme parks, I don't know! You know, Universal, Sea World, Epcot, and Disney World.

Cracks me up!

That is too sweet!!

A lot of people mistakingly refer to the Magic Kingdom as Disney World. I used to - but that was before I found DISBoards

We got back a couple of weeks ago.

We were on the bus going from MK to Port of Orleans - French Quarter. A young father and his 4 year old daughter sat next to me. She was precious. As we passed Contemporary she stated "Daddy, that hotel is broke. It has a hole in it".

Also, later in the week in Toon Town I had a good laugh. Outside of Mickey's house, I heard a lady telling a man where he could go to meet all the fairies - Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Aurora. She told him that he could get in either line.

We just got home a week ago and I found this one amusing. My husband was checking us in at The Flying Fish and there was a couple ahead of him. They asked the couple if they had any allergies or dietary restrictions and the lady says "Yes, I'm allergic to fish.":rolleyes1 My husband, who's usually very quiet, says "Ummm...you do realize the restaurant is called Flying FISH? Maybe you should rethink your dinner plans." :rotfl:

We were lunching at the Biergarten last year with my folks and our 4 kids. The kids thought the food was okay and the show was mildly amusing, but hey, this was gramma and grampa's pick, not ours. DD (19 at the time) is getting a little punchy from lack of sleep and the fact that we had finished eating quite some time before. Being more than a little goofy, she grabs the little book that they put the bill in and waves it around saying, "waiter, waiter," very quietly. Much to her chagrin our cute waiter walks up in a huff and says he'll be right there. She turned shades of red that I didn't know existed.

For some reason this makes me think of The Muppet Movie

Kermit: "Its a myth, a myth!"
Waitress: "Yes?"

The random things that pop into my mind sometimes.
