:rockband::music:party: CONGRATS ON THE DOUBLE DIGITS!!!!!! :rockband::music:party:

Your pictures are great.. I need to do that when I see sleeping people!!!

ok...speaking of coffee....we do not currently have a kona cafe ressies...can you get kona cofee at the Poly counter service? I know my mom would LOVE that....she really liked it when they were in Hawai!!

If you walk into the Poly from the monorail, on your left hand side, there is a stand that sells Kona coffee. It is a blend though, not 100% Kona. It is called the Kona Island Cafe Bar. I'm not sure if you can get 100% Kona at any restaurant besides Kona Cafe though???? Here is the menu:

Kona Blend Coffee - Regular $1.99 Grande $2.59

Kona Blend Decaf Coffee - Regular $1.99 Grande $2.59

Espresso - Single $3.49 Double $4.49

Kappuccino - Regular $3.99 Grande $4.99

Kafe Latte - Regular $3.99 Grande $4.99

Kafe Mocha - Regular $4.49 Grande $5.49

Kafe Au Lait - Regular $4.29 Grande $5.29

Assorted Pastries and Desserts from the in-house bakery.

YOU need to write a PTR/TR, you are funny!!!!!

party::welcome:party:

DIS MEET?

Me? Thanks! Actually, I might start a PTR - I have a lot to plan for this trip and am far from a WDW expert, so...maybe. I have to figure out the boards a little bit better first, I was impressed that I pulled off quoting your post. If I did - I mean, I haven't posted yet so I'm kind of assuming it worked.

(When I was a kid, my dad always told me to count to 10 before I spoke. Obviously I never learned that lesson and I type like I talk, very stream-of-consciousness.)

And thank you for the welcome, I am honored.

I would love a dismeet if one comes about, but I give you full authority to retract my invitation once you get to know me better. In about January, you'll be thinking, "who invited her again?"

:cool1::banana::cool1::banana: YAY!!! Congrats on Double Digits!!!! Your trip will be here before you know it!!!:cool1::banana::cool1:

Woo Hoo for double digits!!!

:cool1::woohoo::banana::yay::dance3::cheer2:

Nice pics... Where do you find all of the sleeping people??? :confused3:rotfl:

Hurray for double digits!!!

Love how you took a nap with the lady near Test Track! :lmao:

Celebrating double digits with you this morning! :cheer2:

:woohoo: for double digits!

:banana::banana::cool1::cool1::cool1:Wahoo for double digits!:woohoo:

Thanks everyone.

Sleeping pix are my favorites. I just find it funny that people fall asleep out in the open in random places. So I am always in search of people sleeping. Wendy has a picture of me next to a lady sleeping on a bench. She looked so uncomfortable sleeping kinda sitting up. I'll have her scan it and post it if she can find it.

I think someone answered it for you right? I'll look if not.

This is on every country's "to-do/hidden gems to find" list I have going. I'm pretty sure there is a hat in every country to get a pic with (11 opportunities to score someone's cooties), as well as a fountain to do something goofy in front of.

Very funny. You know, I bought 5 berets in France on my high school trip; I don't think I've ever warn them- ever! :lmao: They look good in the box that they sit in, though.

I'm sure there are hats in every country.

The most popular I think are the berets, the rice patty hats in china, fez hats, sombreros and the viking hats....What hats do canadians wear?

Berets from the real France?

Double Digits!! :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

Too funny finding sleeping people in the parks. Only you would take pictures with them. :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: this is my favorite.

yay for double digits!!!! :woohoo: i do believe i'm at the 400-day mark now. :rotfl: so we both have a milestone!

The napping lady on the lawn is my favorite and so is the sleeping peep in the wheelchair. Whoever was with the wheelchair man just left him there sleeping...:confused3

Sleeping pix have been going on for at least a decade at WDW.

:thumbsup2 Double digits!!!!!

:cool1: Double Digits!!

Thank you so much. I can't believe it's just a little over 3 months away!

Happy Double Digit Day!!! :dance3:

Kathy

Thanks to two of the DISers from the original PTR started in 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!

President's Week! :scared1:

Luckily that'll be the solo portion of my trip. So I will have seen everything I need to see. I can get to parks at rope drop; ride the attractions I want to; do a little exploring; then get the heck out of dodge before it gets too crowded.

Apparently, it's ski week for most of the schools in NYC and some other areas in the NE. I know it's Mardi Gras holiday for LA. It will definitely be busy.

Love the Test Track nap spot. I gotta try that one day.

You have to take a nap near Test Track or take a pic of someone taking a nap?;)

Dang....I can't believe I slept through all the nut talk.;)

I love the picture of you with the sleeping guy in a wheelchair! :rotfl2:

You have a thing with wheelchairs don't you..;)

jordan i do say your TR is the hardest to keep up with, i think this is where the party is at every night.

DAN!!!!!!

Sleeping pix are fun. The challenge is always to get in the sleeping picture with the person sleeping.

I had lurked for a few years before posting and it was grief that brought me here and now I have many friends here who are really supportive! Take your time. If you want any advice on getting a PTR started, let me know.

I type like I talk pretty much. Sometimes I have to think about how to word something so people can understand because they can't hear the tone of my voice or see my body language or facial expressions.

It does take a special kind of crazy to send a "flat" self or to carry one around snapping pictures with one.

Not to mention taking pictures of oneself in the travel size aisle at target.:thumbsup2

You found some VIA right? You should be good to go! I'm wondering if you're at your interview. Praying right now.

I did and bless you for mentioning it and it reminding me that we had some. I feel VERY bad that didn't think of it before poor Jeff left the house. We each need 2 cups in the am to be civilized human beings.

I was about to drink tea. Which to me is an afternoon adventure, with sugar on a blustery day. Granted, it is Seattle, in October so today does qualify for that. I am still a HUGE Tazo fan. Something about the Tea Shaman just makes me smile.

I've only tried the Italian Roast, which was always one of my favorites for a drip coffee but as VIA wow, it's a bit much, even for me. I am highly caffeinated!

Could be that my cup is too small....

Can you believe it, I just heard from the recruiter...the guy is out sick today! But you know what? I feel really really well prepared and am at peace with it, whatever happens or how ever it goes. It will be sometime next week. It's a good feeling. An even better feeling is the big deal I've been working on for my current job is ready to talk numbers tomorrow!

And on the positive side...I don't have to cancel my microwave repair that was coming at the same time! I'd been holding off, hoping my mom could fill in and now I can go to Costco, get coffee, get stuff for my dinner party and have a working appliance. It works...I just can't read any numbers. Slightly problematic.

It's all good.

Berets from the real France?

Moose antlers??

Yeah, real berets from real France.

Do they sell cowboy hats in America or baseball caps?

bandanas in Japan?? UK, hmmm... Beefeater fuzzy black things??

Congrats Jordan...nice ADRS...you're going to do the AKL trifecta...:woohoo:

sorry Jordan to hijak but...

Off topic

New York pizza is really good...I didn't think it would be that different from Philadelphia pizza but it is extra Yummy...

If Jenn has any suggestions for pizza...I'm all ears...we've been to a couple of good places...one was John's -it's in a old church off of Times Square...

(we're going to NY next weekend so I'm deciding where to eat...:lmao: and this caught my eye...)

I don't think you were talking about me Jenn..were you? But either way I'm forcing my way into this convo b/c NY pizza is near and dear to my heart. You can't really go wrong trying to find good NY pizza in NYC... John's is AWESOME. Very crowded b/c all the midtown office workers go there, as well as Times Square tourists, and it's listed in every travel guide. But seriously? It's worth it. Great setting too in the old church. My favorite is Two Boots pizza in nyc... I know they closed the one in Rockefeller Center but there's a few others around. By far my favorite two. :)

I've only had NY style pizza out here a few times at Pizza Joints that are owned by NY natives. They are usually hole in the wall places, but the pizza was hot, greasy and cheesy with great sauce. so good. I can't imagine what the authentic pizza would taste like....mmmmm. I'm suddenly hungry

you must try authentic pizza! I wonder if I could just mail you some? :rotfl:

I LOVE coffee, but never drink it at WDW because of the Nescafe stuff they try to pass off as coffee. So Kona sounds awesome.

Although real coffee is hard to find at disney, it is there! You just have to know where to look. Have you seen the list on allears? It's not a complete list but it's not bad. Also...MANY of the TS locations that we ate at this past trip have all proudly switched over to 'real' coffee. The only one that failed miserably with their Nescafe crapola is Tusker House. The waitress at Tony's laughed when I asked her about the coffee and she said almost every TS has now converted over. It's the CS and other locations you have to be leery about! Kona is still the best though :)
