PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

What?! We're only a couple of hours away from one another and we almost never get good deals like that! But we can get good deal so to Vegas almost any day of the month. :confused3 Go figure!

I vote the extra two days no matter the situation.

Don't know about Orlando, but I bet Vegas is cheaper because you're allowed to fly Southwest to places other than Arkansas, Lousiana, Oklahoma, and St. Louis.

You could always drive here...before they started offering direct flights to Montego Bay from DFW, I twice drove all night to fly out of Houston to save a few hundred bucks. Of course one of those times the airline changed my flight from Intercontinental to Hobby and we had to drive like madmen across town to make the flight....

I think Snow White would love a peak at your boxers. She enjoys a show from time to time. ;)

Okay, that's scarey right there - don't care who you are..

A couple of months ago when I started looking at this trip, we had planned to stay at the Swolphin because I get government rates. Not only did they not have any government rate rooms, they didn't have ANY rooms for one of the nights (although honestly I can't remember if it was president's weekend that was the problem or the other weekend. I think it was the 13th though.) So, they may not be able to use their points. :confused3

I hate airfare roulette - luckily both times I have gotten tickets for $198 to Orlando. On the other hand, I can never find anything cheap to Vegas and Tony's having no luck getting to NY for Christmas. :headache:

We're having a terrible time with airfare to San Antonio for New Years. We're waiting for some bonus money to purchase, but I'll have a hard time pulling the trigger anyway. I saw $300 or so on other dates, but holiday rates are ore than double that. :sad2: That cuts in to my Sea World money!

Christmas rates are super high this year. I know a couple of people who have canceled trips because they can't find anything cheap. And I suspect Tony will end up going to see his family in February while I am at WDW (NY/NJ in February? No thanks!)

As to the airfare...oh wow, options, options. I would say, if there is no chance of using the points-and it's a "use 'em or loose 'em" sorta deal, convert and use them for airfare. It would save you hundreds too in not having to pay OOP for that!! I'm curious about this Starwood timeshare...googling....

I can tell you alllllll about the Starwood timeshare program... if you're really interested, PM me and we can chat... it's a great complement to DVC for us. Not for everyone of course, but for our vacations it works. :thumbsup2

That is very true! We love Cyber Monday - we got a steal on a GPS last year and it has never been that low again since! :thumbsup2

Oh I forgot about Cyber Monday! I'm off on Mondays too...hmmm....

Wendy can tell you all about Starwood...but I have benefited from their ownership!;)

Los Dos Dias Mi Amigo.

I think Wendy would prefer that. I don't know if a final decision's been made yet.

Morning Peeps !! How is everyones's Chonies !!!!!:rotfl2:

In a bunch...;)

Los Dos Dias Mi Amigo.

While I would want the two extra days, I totally understand not wanting to waste the points. Besides, that's two less days she'd have to worry about what Jordan was going to do with his chonies in the parks! :rotfl:

I vote for two more days too. :cool1:

Really? This is even a question?! ;)
In V's Fuzzy World, it's that last choice by a landslide! :thumbsup2

I have to agree with the V!!

My vote: add 'em!! :teacher:

I wonder what she'll do after seeing all the replies....

That's just crazy!!!!!!!

Here's to hoping for better airfares for you.

the flight that Wendy and I originally wanted to book on Delta was 733 today on travelocity.

Wow. I am dumbfounded.
I guess fewer folks are traveling, so they're charging more so they don't lose as much?? :confused3

I think the Swan for 2 more nights is a great option... so close to Epcot and the Boardwalk, too!

Why are they doing that?????

Thanks for the good wishes. I think they just rip us off on holidays because they know people are emotionally invested and they will pay more if they have to. I see the same thing for Spring Break. I discovered that if we go 2 days later and come home 2 days later, we'll save $400. I think that's what we'll do.:thumbsup2 That will mean babysitting for two days without DS and DDIL, but that will mean more time to play with the kids!:cloud9:
