PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

It's a beautiful morning.....Happy morning to everyone! ;)
I'm a happy gal...I got all my ADR's this morning! :yay:
Sorry to highjack Jordie. :upsidedow

That's the way it always happens. They go down, that's the trend. Wait, wait, wait..... then cry.

Why are they doing that?????

They're canceling flights too - fewer people flying, so offer fewer flights and jack up the prices. You'll still have full planes because now you have less competition.

And yeah, I heard somewhere that holiday prices would be high this year as they try to recoup summer losses or something to do with the price of oil maybe....

Thanks for the good wishes. I think they just rip us off on holidays because they know people are emotionally invested and they will pay more if they have to. I see the same thing for Spring Break. I discovered that if we go 2 days later and come home 2 days later, we'll save $400. I think that's what we'll do.:thumbsup2 That will mean babysitting for two days without DS and DDIL, but that will mean more time to play with the kids!:cloud9:

Airline fares never made much sense to me. Also how they do the add ons like charging for bags doesn't either...

Economics 101:)

Let's see what I've missed...snazzy undies, great deals, flashing Snow White, and airfare decisions. Oh how I love this PTR, although its easy to get WAY behind very quickly. Good luck to Wendy and crew. I'd probably vote for an extra couple of days also, unless the points are going to expire anyway.

Great shopping deals. Tough one on the flights. I am still waiting for SW to release May dates.

I'm preparing for blissful slumber, but thought I'd see how the planning was shaping up. Until next time, may your dilemas be recitified, you passes Fast, your ressies secured and may your chonies never bind. Cause like they used to say in the old TV Ad, "A man can't swing if his underwear don't."

You do realize that gall bladder attacks make any manner of laughing painful. And this is not for inducing your ordinary laughter- but more like leak worthy mania. Please, I live overseas, and don't want emergency surgery.

Yay Millie!:banana::banana::banana: ADRs make it feel so real!:thumbsup2

It's just stupid - we finished playing airfare roulette today. We will be traveling on Christmas day in order to save $400. Some of the reason is that we really need to budget and some of it is that I was bound and determined to not pay those double rates! We ended up with $507 from home to San Antonio - Dec 25 - Jan 4. We'll get in late on Christmas Night. Merry Christmas to us! :santa:

Congratulations! :woohoo::woohoo:

It's nice to have that out of the way.
Yes. Yes it is! I thank you all. I'm so thrilled! I got every last one that my and my families hearts desired while there, and times too! <big happy sigh> :cloud9:

I'm Sorry. :flower3: It's just not right is it? :sad2: I hope your Christmas turns out to be good....look at it this way....you'll come back just in time for Christmas, on a major high from Disney and no one will expect you to host, or cook! See! That's a good thing! ;)

Ooooo. Are you able to come to the states any time soon (I realize as I'm about to say this that I should pull my tongue out for doing it ;)) non-Disney realated, so you can have surgery? I know exactly what your going through and how painful it is. I've been there and done that and wish I didn't have the T-shirt to prove it.... I had mine out several years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. :worship: Thank you Lord! There's no way you could do it there, huh?

Did Wendy decide to use the Starwood points? That sounded like the best option for right now. We have never flown but were considering it this time....until we saw the prices. That coupled with the price of a rental car (we hate the bus system) was just unreasonable. :sad2:

So almost all of my Christmas shopping is done. I'm sad to say that I spent WAY over budge this year...which I never do! That means I will have to wait to buy any Disney stuff for our trip. :sad1: Oh well. Hopefully I will be back to shopping for our trip! :thumbsup2

Thanks Millie! Actually we'll be traveling to San Antonio on Christmas to see our DSIL and his family - we've been caring for the grandbabies since they were born, DGS 4 and DGD 2 - they moved out there in July after finishing school and getting jobs as teachers. We miss them terribly, so it is not a big sacrifice to travel on Christmas, just weird! I will be very excited!:banana::banana:

I don't think that's the option they're going for!

Great shopping deals. Tough one on the flights. I am still waiting for SW to release May dates.

The airfare for the desired flight I orginally wanted is pricing today at 823.00:eek::eek:
