Jordan! After a long week gone, I've finally gotten caught up. Whew! Loved the updates, especially the kids. So cute! And how awesome that you got to meet Kat!!! Looks like you had fun, besides that weirdo drunk!

I didn't mean to dis Maelstrom to ya, , it's just that we'd never been to WDW till '06. Nostalgia to me is the wand on the Epcot ball. I grew up going to DL, so I wax nostalgic on 20,000 Leagues. That's what I remember as the Disney magic, because I BELIEVED I was underwater. Forget wondering whether Mickey was real, I just knew that sub somehow travelled several miles over to the beach!

I said that I had a sixer in my room and that he could have a few if he wanted....He was a bit stunned, but he was jonesing for more alcohol. So we walked to the BCV. I went upstairs and grabbed 3 beers and we sat down and enjoyed a few drinks......

You did what At least you didn't let him go to your room!!!

He was there with his "soon-to-be-ex-wife". He and his fiancee had just gotten engaged.

Say what?

He laughed and said well if someone encroached on his business and tried to take business from him, he definitely had connections and those people would be "taken care of"......

I was very happy we finally got to meet. We had been texting throughout our vacations and finally were able to meet face-to-face.

I am now in the process of trying to squeeze another WDW trip sometime this year....it's a long shot, but I'm looking at my finances right now....

um....well, i know two vandy fans that are gonna be in WDW in early september. just sayin'.

holy crap....your encounter with that guy.... can you say too much information??? i think it would occur to me that my marriage is doomed when my husband calls me his "soon-to-be-ex" before we even say i do!

Luckily the "soon-to-be" wasn't within earshot, but you have to wonder...she kept texting him as if there was already some trust/control issues....Why do people like this get married. They're already unhappy...

So I decided to change the unhappy subject to work....I asked him what he did. He was a business owner. We talked about that for a bit. Then just for laughs I asked him about the Sopranos. I said I had never been to New York and I asked him as a New Yorker if he thought it was fair that this stereotype is put out there about New York and the mafia. I LOVE sitting on the Boardwalk late at night. It has a completely different feel. You feel like you're alone (well, most of the time) and you have the ability to really soak in the atmosphere and the time to reflect on your trip....

It's the best...sorry, I'm really not rubbing it in..

I still may not go on Saturday..we'll see....

October is probably my first choice.
