3 other guys and I had a lengthy conversation at the retreat about poop. Mostly about Toilet Tissue- 2 ply. crunching vs. folding.......

I once listened to this podcast from director/actor Kevin Smith where he talked about something like this. Only he was marveling over the new world he has found.......wet wipes vs. toilet paper. It was hilarious!! He went on and on about how surprisingly fresh he felt after the wet wipes.

And I'm still laughing must be getting better !!

do I even want to know what that means???


reminds me of my favorite line from my Grandma's biography...when asked about growing up during the depression she mentioned having an outhouse minus the t.p......."sears and roebucks wiped our butts".

We had toilet paper in ours !!Must have been classy!!!

but it gets rid of wrinkles and freckles...obviously 2 things my MIL thinks are a problem for me.

Love white elephant gift exchanges! Alot more fun than regular gifts...it gives me a chance to pass on the gems I get from my mother in law. My cousin enjoyed his new face vibrator...

Can't flush AT ALL here. So we have a little trashcan (lined with a bag for the ease and comfort of the daily designated "taker-outer") that sits beside the swirly bowl. Everyday, the John Wayne paper, and any "sensitive material" (like newsletters, mail with our Stateside address, or info about friends) gets burned- along with anything else that ends up in our little dumpster. Some days that might be a dead cat, everyone else's vodka bottles, or maybe even the neighbor's kid's dirty diaper that my dog is constantly pulling out of their dumpster for us to pick up.

Just bring several bags to our meet; I hope that happens soon by the way.

And I DON"T want to see that face vibrator!! Period.

It was very cool to be able to watch. I think the same guy did it last year also.

Looks like there is a holiday wishes at 10p eastern tonight....don't know if they will still have it up then or not.

BTW....I saw a picture of the Disneyland Castle with the lights. Is this the first year they have done that there??

We've been here for almost 9 years. By the time we leave it will be almost 10. Kinda feeling the need to be closer to our kids as they graduate and move on, and our DS, 11, needs some special ed. and speech therapy stuff we can't get here. All good things must come to an end. Def. plan though is very up in the air.

Good to get an update on that. will keep thinking for you guys.

I think we're at DTD that night. So it's definite possibility.
