Paying The Hotel

When I travel I pay by bank cashier's check for the balance. Plus an addition $50 for incidentals.

I recently thought about paying for our hotel stay in December with a check simply because I'm afraid Disney will "block" a certain amount on my credit card. I have my trip and my funds down to a "t" and don't have enough room to block any extra...

Could that be the OP's concern?
