Paying for someone's meal question

We have friends going down to WDW soon, and would really like to treat them to a meal.
I know that they have ressies for Kona Cafe one day and would like to pay for their meal..is there any way to go about this?
I can't give Disney Dollars because they probably wouldn't accept it. They're too nice!

I can't really think of any way you could do this as you wouldn't know how much the meal would be etc. Just a suggestion ..... if they are staying onsite at one of the disney resorts you could have a special goody waiting for them in their room when they arrived or delievered by room service on a particular night. We have had chocolate tuxedo strawberries from room service and yum!! We have also ordered the main mouse which is a white chocolate mickey with tuxedo strawberries. Also the disney florist.com can send flowers and some goodies.

We had a friend of ours call the restaurant we were at a number of years ago and paid for his meal by giving them his credit card number. This was a special treat for us from our friend as we had just announced we were expecting our first child. It was really fun to have the restaurant manager come to our table with a special message from our friend and say that our meal was paid for. So, it is possible to do this...as for getting the phone number for an individual restaurant, I'd check with the dining resservation phone number and see if they can get it for you. Otherwise, try calling the front desk of the hotel and they should be able to either transfer you or give you the direct phone number for the restaurant.

When we were on our honeymoon, my office put a $400 credit onto our room and sent a card to give to us upon check in so we knew what it was for. You could always do that say maybe the day before their trip or the morning of, so they have that waiting for them upon checkin in with a note "dinners on us".
