Paying for preorder photopass cd

Can you pay for the preorder cd with a Disney gift card or only with credit card? I have a few gift cards that I've purchased at Target with the 5% savings from Target Red Card. Just trying to decide the best way to use these. I only see the option of paying with credit card, but thought someone mentioned using gift cards for the cd...

Good idea. I know Kroger has some 2x (or was it 4x) fuel points for gift cards. I was considering the Photpass CD also.

Anyone know for sure? And if so, is the pre order photopass $99 exactly or is there tax, etc.?

yes, i did just that. you have enter cc along with gc but if they are enough it does not charge the cc.

Like pp said, you still do have to add a cc#.

I used 2 $50 gc's from Target, but it only took one of them. It's very possible I missed up the number and that's why, but I just wanted to let you know my experience. If you have a $100 GC then I'd use that one.

Also, it took me a long time to figure it out (see above, I might just be an idiot, lol) but you have to use a coin and scratch off the silver part to get the last 4 numbers of the GC.

I would guess it didn't take the second as you only owed $49 after using the first and if that is the case it won't take a $100. I would have thought it would just leave $1 on the card but, maybe not.

FYI the photopass is set to increase, I have been reading on the photo share facebook site to $129.00 this week. THe pass will be good even if your trip is planned Dec. It starts the first upload.
Maybe google FB for the correct information.

I just went to Target today and purchased (2) $50 with my Target card and paid $95.

I was then able to go to the PhotoPass website and pre-order the CD using both gift cards. I had to input my CC info too, but the total came to $99.95 which came off the gift cards. One of my gift cards is showing a balance of $0.05.

I did basically the same thing. I bought a $100 gift card at Kroger. Used the Kroger bonus card or whatever so that I get fuel points. They are having a special of 4x Fuel points for gift cards. So, I got 400 fuel points meaning .40 off each gallon of gas (up to ~35 gallons IIRC). I put the gift card on my Disney Visa with rewards so I also get those points. I went out to the Kroger parking lot and used their wifi with my laptop and went online to do the photopass purchase.

Everything worked out fine and I still have .05 left on the gift card.
