I'm trying to keep the magic alive since our trip. We can't go this year - just too expensive but I am saving for our next trip. :woohoo: I thought I would order the PassPorter guide so I have something to drool over and stay up-to-date. Worth it or save my cash?

We got our 08 Passporter in November. We feel it's worth it. :thumbsup2 It's a handy organizer with lots of info (not as much as the Unofficial Guide), ratings, and colorful maps. A fun book. :)

Keep in mind, not a lot changes from year to year, so if you have an 07 Passporter, it may not be worth it from an info standpoint (just use the DIS) -- unless you just want an organizer.

The passporter is totally worth it and the website has a lot of good stuff. If you get the passporter, make sure you go check out the custom pages that are available for it.

::yes:: It's totally worth it. Even now I look through it and our trip was almost 6 mos ago.

I have several PassPorters now...probably about 5 of 'em. I love using those back yellow pages as a diary of our trips. You tend to forget stuff, so they are great for looking back at, over the years.
I got lucky this year and they accepted a magical moment submission from me...sure does make that particular PassPorter a bit more special!!

I think of all the Disney guides out there, Passporter is truly the best. We get one every year. I'm quoted in the first Disneyland edition with a tip.

Thanks for everyone's feedback! I going to go ahead and order one. It will be so much fun to look back at it and reminisce about our last trip. Now if I could only win that lottery, hmmmm . . . . .

Definately worth it. Quick Tip: I signed up for a Borders Rewards card for free (I think you can even do it online) and they send you periodic emails with 20 - 30% coupons that you can use on any book with no minimum purchase. I got my 2008 passporter for something like $15! :thumbsup2

One more vote for the Passporter from this gal! :thumbsup2

We've had 2 PassPorters and I'm probably going to get the 2008 version for our trip in April. I love this guide book. I love that I can put my ticket stubs in the back and write down things that we did that particular day so that I don't forget when I come home and scrapbook my trip.

Enjoy it! I know you will love it!

Wow 2moms! I'm definitely going to check that out. You can't beat that price.

Is it worth it even if you've been to Disney multiple times and know it inside and out?

You can also become a member of their website and you will also get at least 30% off and you get a chance to get the book before it hits store shelves.

To OP, great book, a must have.

We bought one for our trip in '06. We loved filling out the Passpockets each night to record what had happened that day. Plus, the maps and ride/restaurant ratings are handy.

So we bought one for our trip in '07, too. Again, it worked great.

We plan to buy one for every trip!

I'd never heard of this guide book before now. If I was only going to buy one guide book, would you recommend the PassPorter or Unofficial Guide?

Passporter. Visit their site for more info.

I have 3 passporters now. I bought one for each trip I went on and I have one for the trip I am going on this yr. Not only can I keep record of upcoming trip but I can look back and see how I did it in the past yrs. I can compare costs and such and see what has worked for my family. Its a great book to look thru if you need a Disney pick me up or just like helping friends plan out there Disney vacation. A quick tip if your not wanting to spend the money on this yrs edition wait until the end of the yr and they offer an older edition for just one dollar its a great deal. Passporter has and always will be my guidebook and I love looking thru it on the way there.

As someone who has done WDW 50+ times, YES IT IS! :thumbsup2

I have a Deluxe version which I've nicknamed The Brain. I mark it up with things I want to do and even my daughter looks through it to read up on what she's interested in seeing. Plus, I went through two spiral editions that I wore out so badly the pages were clinging on for dear life. :thumbsup2 I'm not buying the 2008 version (I have 2007) but am waiting for the 2009 edition.

It definitely keeps the magic going for us. We usually go for Easter and for Christmas but since we're moving this summer, the Easter trip had to be cancelled. Looking through our Passporter keeps us excited for our Christmas trip.
