This may be a silly question but does anyone "stamp" the passports when you come or go from the Bahamas?? DD has a new passport and she is very excited about gettiing it stamped. Is there anyway to ask that the passport be stamped??We just returned from Canada and although they asked to see the document it was not stamped. DD was disappointed as she would like hers to have some stamps in it as DH and mine do from other countrys. Thanks

i have never had my passport stamped when entering or leaving a port...

We didn't have our passports stamped at port either and we went to Europe last year and no one stamped them there either. My DS was disappointed too...not sure why no one is doing this anymore. Maybe you do have to ask.

That is somewhat disappointing...but ,I guess if they were stamped it would take longer to get on and off the ship. Somewhere I read that they have a Disney passport for EPCOT?? Anyone know the details of that?? Thanks

The Epcot passport is really neat for kids. We've done this twice. You have to buy the passport from the gift shop or from a cart before entering into the World Showcase. All of the shops sell them and they look very official. They come with stickers for every country for the kids to apply as they go or later. As they enter each "country," they can just ask a gift shop worker who stamps passports (most of the time its them) and they stamp and sign a personal note for your child in their native language, then read to your child what they wrote.

It's a great way to get your kids excited about the World Showcase!

I've never been on a cruise like this before, so I have no idea about stamping at ports, but I did want to mention that a lot of countries definitely do still stamp passports. A lot of it probably depends on what country you're entering from (i.e. how rich that country is). For example, when entering Western Europe from the USA, you might not always get a stamp, but when entering Western Europe from Eastern Europe, you definitely will.

We are Canadians, on the Eastern we got two stamps from US Immigration..one on our St Thomas day and the other coming back to Port Canaveral.

They both say US Immigration but one says CHA and the other says PCF.

We also got two more here in Calgary from both US and Canada Customs. It was our first time using our passports :p

I would just ask Customs when you report there, they should be able to give you a stamp!
