The face of coming so close but being so far...will wave down in about 2 1/2 hours to all you luckies....

Hey man! Didn't I see you last night on the show "Airplane Repo" on the Discovery Channel? :wave2: I watched 4 straight hours and I swear you were on. They grabbed everything from a crop duster to a Lear 60 (plus a $3M yacht) in those 4 episodes. (hope I got that high end Lear right...)

I would ask you to look out the window and give us an up-to-the-minute wait time for Haunted Mansion as you zoom by but if you're not supposed to be texting while driving, I dang sure know you shouldn't be texting while flying! :scared:

Get home safe.

PS - nice tie. very professional look.

PPS - occupational question: are the log books as important as they make them sound on the show? sounds like a plane's value is driven by whether the repo guys can get the logs too along with the plane itself.

Ed, I think you remember him from the movie "Airplane".

Over Macho Grande?

I gotta tell you...I watched that show before. I think the best comparison I can make (as far as how I feel when I watch it) is the way a cop/detective feels when watching a cop/detective show, or the way a doctor feels watching a doctor show. While I know airplanes get repo'd, they definitely add some (IMO) unrealistic drama.

Logbooks (regarding aircraft history for maintenance) are important as you want to know that this airplane has been taken care of correctly. Certain things are required to be done by regulation, and there needs to be documentation of that. In Miami for 2 nights now. While it's not Disney, at least it is warm.

I tried to see your haunted mansion wait times, but I suddenly had to look away as I maneuvered to avoid flying elephants, some sparkly girl in green, and a crazy blue dude with a guy and a monkey on a carpet?!? That place needs better air traffic control :)

I only have one question for our friend poster 4077 - His name supposedly is Ted Striker ...

PS - but I know Ted/4077 is cool under pressure as he flies over the Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness ...

Fortunately, I skipped the fish today...

And that, as much as anything, led to his drinking problem...

No problem landing, Bama....I was on instruments

Well, my goodness, Scraps is a boy dog...

Wow. I picked a hellofa week to quit sniffing glue...:rotfl2:

I think I talked to this guy today....probably the reason for the mess over Disney

Probably seen both movies hundreds of times and they still are funny as ever.

Here I was headed by Orlando northbound today

Was hazy, so not good for photo, but If you look just to the right of the center of the picture, that is where I-4 and 192 intersect, so the Disney area is in the upper right hand corner of the picture...I guess the best thing to take from this picture is what awesome weather they were having today...lucky you if you there right now!

I have to ask.

"Worms" and "Barbs"? Those are interesting waypoints.

I am guessing someone who likes fishing got to name those? With the thousands of fixes and intersections, a lot of funny things get made up/used.

Some people may or may not know that some of the arrivals (basically specified routes in the sky that aircraft use when approaching to land at a particular airport) are charted for visual reference on paper and on iPads...these arrivals also have names....for MCO, there are a few Disney type arrivals:

GOOFY 6
MINEE 5
PIGLT 4

Sometimes the arrivals themselves in certain cities have fixes named for sports players, famous things about the location, just funny "jokes" that someone came up with. It is interesting to see these as you go from place to place.

That's funny, I didn't notice it first time around

(Couldn't resist putting in another pic)

Here is the "GOOFY 6" arrival....nothing special except to see "GOOFY" on the stuff pilots look at going to Orlando
