Thank you!

You're welcome! If you have any questions while planning feel free to ask. We loved Hawaii!! Would go back in a second if it wasn't so faraway

Ohio State is playing Central Florida on Saturday. On our local sports station this morning, there was an advertisement about the game. And they said, "This ain't Disneyland!" Is it weird that it grated on my nerves like nails on a chalkboard? :rotfl:

Yeah, and my husband is spitting nails that he's working this weekend and won't be able to see the game ;)

I love it! I'm sure I have ridden Dumbo when I was younger.....but I don't remember it at all. Do adults ride Dumbo even without children? Is there a weight limit? :rotfl2: I want hubby to ride it with me!

Absolutely! Everyone is a kid at Disney. :goodvibes DB and I rode it last year. I am Pooh sized and he is a stringbean and we fit fine. I could not have ridden it with DH.

Bummer! I dont have tickets this week, but I'll be watching it on tv. Tell DH, I'll cheer extra loud for him.:cheer2::cheer2:

Doesn't hubby like it? Or is he too tall? I'm 5'4" and hubby is 6'. Will he have to ride with his feet dangling out? :lmao:

DB is 6' and he didnt have any problem. DH didnt want to ride it, but us riding together would have been a width problem, not height. :rotfl:

Who makes that app? I used to have one on my DroidX but when I got my iPhone I lost it.......

WDW Countdown by PLR Concepts. It has built-in Disney pics including holiday scenes. :)

I'm really getting my pre trip plans in gear now. I ordered some pins on ebay, they arrived today, I got some Disney stickers in the mail (just a cool coincidence) so I think I'm going to turn these into some sort of advent calendar. On some days I'll have pins under the flap, some stickers. Also, recently my DS took half of his DS games to camp (he has two small containers to hold games) and it was lost/stolen; that represents 12-15 games  I've managed to find a few of them on ebay (used) for really great prices, so I think I'll try to track down some of his favourite Disney ones and use them in the calendar as well (Phineas & Ferb, Brave, LEGO POTC, LEGO Star Wars etc). Any other ideas for me of small Disney type things I could put under flaps?

Congratulations to those who have moved into double digits in the last couple of days! :thumbsup2

Disneyalltheway -- I loved that video, thank you for sharing that! Maybe I can use that in my advent calendar -- just put locations of Disney video clips I'd like my DS to see :)

I'm lucky, as some of you have mentioned, in that normally people I travel with let me take the reins -- knowing I'm a planner and a bit of a control freak I suppose ;) My mom is joining us for a few days on this December trip and she hasn't even mentioned a single thing she'd like to do/see, but she knows I know what she likes; I'm on it. :goodvibes

ksromak -- I use a countdown app called Big Day -- you can customize it and use any pictures you like as a background.

Wow! You're off the DIS for several days then BAM!! Not only a new thread but on to page 23!!! Awesome!

I've been so super busy but the great news is our trip is thisclose to being paid off (except for tips and spending $). Once I can say it's paid off, I'll be doing the :woohoo: dance!!

This has been the longest summer ever. It has really dragged....and I also mean weather wise. Y'all, it is HOT in Texas! :furious: Seriously, it's September and 101!! :faint: I have never longed for fall/winter more in my entire life. True, don't wanna wish my life away, but bring on the cool weather already! :thumbsup2

Hope everyone is doing great!!

It's been hot in Quebec too. The classes have started and I'm dripping all over the place as I'm teaching. I can also see the kids fan themselves and look so hot it's awful. I'm ready for colder weather.

YES! I'm going to miss them so much, but I know they will be in good hands being spoiled at their Nana's house!

I agree, my parents took off that week to stay at our house (sometimes its easier for them to be home with their stuff) while we are away. And I'm sure they will be totally spoiled rotten when we get back.

Not sure how small your spaces are. Are they boxes or flat? Perhaps Lego minifigs. I needed things for my 12 days Days of Christmas theme. I bought DS (almost 10) Disney gloves, baseball, rubiks cube, pins and Christmas ornaments. I'm waiting now for the SOTMK merchandise to go online. In the past I've found a lot of Disney stuff at Michaels - notebooks, pens, binoculars, flutes, puzzles, etc.

Wish I could do a count down but since I have still mananged to keep the trip a surprise.

A little off topic but I'm feeling like crud today. But I'm having tea out of my WDW refillable mug from our last trip and it's making things all better. Hope everyone has a good day

Feel better! I know the feeling...I've been under the weather for the last couple weeks, but I think I'm finally turning the corner.

Disney's adding 1000+ seats to Fantasmic!. :thumbsup2

Two things came to mind when I saw that:
1) They didn't announce when they'll be adding seats, but I'd assume it'll be before holiday season, right?
1) Hopefully they won't go back to not showing it every day, now that they'll be able to accommodate way more people when they show it. That would really mess with my plans if the drop Fantasmic! from the evening we'll be in HS...

I'd assume that they would probably do the installations in the slow time between New Year's and February vacations.

I doubt they'll go back to less than every night at the same time they're adding more seats. I'm wondering if this is in anticipation of adding Fastpass Plus with Fantasmic seating as an option for one of your daily choices. You know.... for all the people shut out of TSM fastpasses!

Question for those who have been to the world at Christmas before .... Are there PP photogs at the resorts with the more elaborate decorations (ie gingerbread displays, big trees)? Trying to decide on PP or PP+, an also trying to convince DH. TIA
