I'll guess Thurl Ravenscroft, because I know he voices something in the HM and he has a Grrrrrreat growly voice (He voiced Tony the Tiger). He was also the voice of Kirby the vaccuum in The Brave Little Toaster, so I guess that could be the inanimate object. Maybe?
