Actually that is a myth...I am taking the College of Disney Knowledge for travel agents and I just read this fact last night; hence the reason for my question. It is an intended hidden Mickey in the text book I am reading that is written by the Disney company.

(Jen - maybe my job will get me a promotion like your husbands - to Walt Disney World.. )

Hmm, I've been thinking about this travel agent thing. A friend of mine told me how you can licensed to be come a travel agent. I suppose I could pay to do that and then take the course!! Or I could just take my money and go to WDW

I have a conundrum of my own creation. OT is correct about the Mark VIIs, but I have the operation date predating the opening of WDW, in 1967. However, I got the fact off of the imagineering web site for WDW. Normally, I would say my question my rules, but then I'm not sure I could avoid the dreaded black monorail. So, in order to keep the peace, a tire shaped AAQ to OT.

Hmm....yeah technically I would say the model itself got a start in DL's Autopia years before the opening of WDW. But I thought you meant the particular Mark VII's in WDW. So I guess it's more like an AAQ in the shape of a tire that was repaired with Fix-A-Flat.

Anyway, I'll give it to......btuftee.

And by the way....the Mark VII's are going to be replaced soon! The whole fleet of cars and the track itself are being re-vamped to a more Indy look and feel. Ever wonder what that Indy car model, that sits in front of the attraction is from? That's what the new cars will look like. At least this was in the plans a couple years ago....it may have been cut too.
