Parks Game! Part 4: Let's Play Some More!!

Actually The Bell System referred to the telephone system wholly owned and operated by AT&T. When Spaceship Earth was sponsored by Bell, they were really sponsored by AT&T. In the mid 80's AT&T was broken up over an antitrust suit and The Bell System ceased to exist. Sponsorship was switched to AT&T in signage only.

And that's a divestiture-shaped AAQ for my old pal OT.

And in an effort to prevent unfair practices and a monopolization of AAQ cards on the PG thread, the one card awarded for Horizons question should be split up into a million independently owned and operated AAQs and distributed to all players.

Everyone can ask a question now.

In the Main Street Athletic Club Many sports are represented throughout this shop. Which sport can be found in the front window?

Distriv...I notice that you're heading to WDW in a day or so. Have a great trip!!

And I'm not sure, but I don't think there's an active question out there, is there??

Well, here goes one:

Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop opened in Downtown Disney in late 1997. Which restaurant did it replace?

I missed it if there is one as well granny. I have one I've been wanting to ask, but I want a full house when I do. Let me know when is a good time.

Thanks for noticing everyone, Haunted Mansion sounds good.
While we are there here's a haunted mansion question.
The Haunted Mansion is modeled after homes built during 18h century in what area?

jwill...the HM is based on the Harry Packer Mansion in Jim Thorp, PA.

It does bear an eerie resemblance, don't you think?

Edit note: Pintrader, if you want a "full house", you're probably best off asking your question in the morning. Other than that, people come in and out of the Chalk Circle all day long.

Thanks, just have to pull myself up early some mornging.:p

Not according to my source granny although the similarity is quite remarkable. Think more to the north.

Jim Thorpe is about an hour away, yet I have never been there.

I think the HM was based on homes built in the Hudson River Valley?
