Forgive me if this has been answered I searched my best. We are staying on site at POR. We will have a car and I understand if we choose to drive to a theme park parking is free. What if we drive to a breakfast ADR i.e. at the POLY. Can we park free at this resort also? Can we leave the car after the meal and use park transportation from there? TIA for help!

As I understand it, all parking at resorts are for free (except for valet obviously). Some resorts might give you a 3hour parking pass so you'll have time for your meal and to have a look around the resort. But you aren't supposed to leave your car at the resort if you go to a park.

You aren't suppose to use resort parking as theme park parking. You may get towed depending on how crowded it is, time of year etc. I would recommend parking at the ttc and taking the resort monorail to poly, if you are going to mk or Epcot after. Or park at poly while eating and driving to hs or ak.

Self-Parking at a resort that you are not staying at, for park access, is not allowed. Period.
Now, if you choose to pay to valet park, then you are free to go wherever you wish, and for as long as you wish.
If I were you, I would just park at the TTC, and then either monorail or walk over to the Polynesian for breakfast.
The monorail takes about 3 mins to make the run from the TTC to the Polynesian. The walk is about 8 mins....walk to the entrance of the TTC, past the ticket booths, go to the left...keep walking. You will see signage that directs you to the walkway to the Polynesian. It's a very pleasant walk once you get to the outer Polynesian area.

Great to know! Thanks so much for all your help! Parking at TTC makes perfect sense.
