Parking at Hollywood Studios

We've never parked at any of the parks, so I am wondering...

We have plans off site but may be able to catch Fantasmic! that night. That will be the only thing we will do at HS, but I thought it would be quicker to just drive, rathan than drive to the hotel and take the busy.

My question is: How does parking work at Hollywood Studios? Do you walk to the doors from the parking? Take a shuttle? Is it a hastle and how expensive?

Already staying onsite Disney, so I don't know if that makes a difference with parking rates.

DHS parking is adjacent to park entrance.

Theme park parking is free for Disney hotel guests.

Not a hassle at all.

When you enter the park you will be directed exactly where to park your vehicle, you will then proceed to where the tram stops, there will probably be others waiting or the tram may already there, they come quite often.
The tram will take you to the entrance.
There will not be a charge for parking, simply have the parking pass that they will give you at your resort upon checkin on the dashboard.
