I've never seen this question specifically addressed but have read between the lines a little and want to see if I have this straight, and if I do understand the process, if it is the best way to go.
My family of four will be spending five days at Disneyworld within a one year period of time so the AP wouldn't make sense for us. I believe I can buy a 10 day pass with the no expiration option and keep the additional five days which I won't use this year until we take our next trip to Disneyworld which will be over one calendar year in the future.
If I'm on track so far, can I then upgrade the 10 day parkhopper pass to an AP on the 10th day of admission with our DVC AP discount? And, even if this is allowed, would it be the most economical way to go?
