My dh and I want to take our dd to wdw in September 2005 for her 3rd birthday, but we really don't want to buy a park pass, as she is not turning 3 until mid-week that we want to go. I guess we could go the week before, and not have to worry about it (and tell her that her bday is that week). Not sure what to do.

someone posted that the child's age is counted as when your reservations/vacation begin. Check through last weeks postings to see if you can find it. Sorry, I don't know how to link it to here. Just like if I bought PH's and my child turned 10 on day three, then he would continue to use his PH as a child's age (9 and under).

If your child is not yet three when you begin the trip they will not need a pass for the remainder of that trip. As long as you check in the day before her birthday she will be "free" for the entire trip! If your child is under 10 when they use the first day of a child's PH pass, they can use the rest of the days on that pass at no additional charge at any time--forever. (Disney will turn it into an adult pass for you if you want.)
