Park hopping Epcot to Hollywood

Hi there, we are coming in October and we want to utilize genie plus. We are staying at the boardwalk so our plan is to go to Epcot in the morning and then Hollywood at night. We booked a park reservation for Epcot since we want to go there first and try to do guardians of the galaxy. But my question is can we also book genie selections for Hollywood studios for the afternoon first thing in the morning if that is our second park? Like can my husband book our guardians virtual queue and then I can just try to book bigger ticket Hollywood rides for the night time? Does that work if our park reservation is for Epcot and I pay for genie plus? Thanks so much for your help!

So, this does work, with the new caveat that you can't book a G+ for your hopping-to park until the allocations for that ride have kicked out to at least 2pm. For example, if Toy Story Mania was offering an 11am return, you would be told you couldn't have it since you can't be in that park at 11. You would have to wait for all the allocations before 2 to go to other guests and then you can book 2pm or later

Since Slinky Dog goes so quickly, you should be fine. Book slinky first thing (or within a minute or two of 7, as by then it should be out to 2pm). 2 hours after Epcot opens, you can book your second, again as long as it's out to 2pm. By then, I think MFSR, ToT and RnR are all probably out that far. Two hours after that, you book again and by that point anything you want will be past the 2pm point already.
