so let me get this straight ( finally) :D if i am staying for 10 nights and want a 7 day park hopper plus pass, i can use it ANY of the 7 days i want??? much more freedom with your itinerary than with the ultimate. is disney quest included in this??

the ultimate gives you the most freedom, but if you get the 7 day php ticket you do not get in disney quest with 7 day PHP. has to be the UPH ticket but the UPH is only good for the length of stay.PHP tickets on the other hand, unused days or plus features if not used never expire.hope this helps.

the problem with the uph was that we are staying 10 days and we only want a 7 day.( not going 1st or last day) cro said they could do that, but we would need 3 different ressies. 1 for the 1st day we get there, 1 for the 7 days we use the pass, and 1 for the last night......weird!! also we would risk the chance of having to check in and out and maybe have to switch rooms. so at least we can still have the freedom of unlimited daily park hopping, without having to use the days consecutively. we will only be going to disney quest once , so no big deal paying the 30 dollars. we just want to split our park time with pool time, so that should be the way for us to go.... RIGHT????? any beter ideas out there,,,,, the ap is out. we are only going once this year

Sounds like the 7 Day PHP tickets are best for your plans.

The 7 Day PHP comes with 4 plus options. THe plus options are good for PI, WWOS and the waterparks. You cannot hop between options on the same day without using another plus, but you can leave and return to the same option on the same day without using plus admission.

Just like the days of major park admission, the unused plus options never expire. You do not have to use a major park day on the same day as you use a plus option (but you can if you want to).

You could easily fill your 10 days with a 7 Day PHP ticket. As mentioned above, the only thing a PHP ticket does not include that the UPH ticket does is Disney Quest.

Enjoy your trip!

Chrissy, I meant to reply to you yesterday and got distracted. We have got the uph pass and stayed and extra night at the beginning and end of our trip and you have to go to the front desk and check out and check back in, you do not have to change rooms, at least we never have.

The php is fine, but if you plan on going to Disney quest and/or pleasure island the uph is a better value. It is sort of a hassle to deal with the ckeckin check out. Now we just arrange our arrival to get there about midday, check in go the parks and when we get back, our room is usually ready. The last day we stay someplace a little cheaper then head out the following morning.

With the uph all I need is one card for our room, parks, meals and every thing else, I lock my wallet and keys in the safe and carry the card, I even swim with in my swim suit. Sometimes that bill that is under door on the last day is a shock, but that just lets me know vacation is over, back to reality. Good luck, just remeber everyone there at wdw is always willing to help.

Chrissy -

If you go with the 7 day PHP, and are going to Disney Quest, check out www.Ticketmania.com. I ordered Disney Quest tickets from there for our trip earlier this month and the tickets were only $21 per adult (no shipping charge). Much better than the $33 at the door.

If your trip is too close - they will deliver to your hotel. Just check out the site. If you have questions, email them - they were really quick to respond to all of my questions.

You might want to check ou the 10-day world pass from Paramount International travel:

http://www.paramountinternationaltravel.com/orderTickets.asp

It's basically the UPH pass with 10 days of unlimited admission to all parks including Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon AND DisneyQuest. They are currently selling this ticket for $335 and each ticket includes a free character breakfast. I suspect that this price compares favorably with the 7-day PHP that you've been considering. Remember with this ticket you won't have to pay extra for DisneyQuest, and you will get full access to all of the parks for 10 days instead of 7.

The only drawback is that the pass expires within 20 days of its initial use. With the PHP, you can always keep any unused days for a future trip--with this pass, you're only going to get the one trip out of it. But unless you're only planning 5 or 6 park days, I think it's a great option for you.
