I've just booked a dinner at Hollywood and Vine for Fantasmic. The thing is because we're a large group, we had to go for 4pm. This isn't a problem for eating, or for the show cause we can go shopping or on more rides, BUT I noticed that, according to the timetable, the parade is on at 5pm that day. Now, we are going back to MGM for a second day later on in the week, but will this mealtime mean that we have to miss the parade? Or is there a way to view it from the restaurant area? Or do you think we'll get done in time? Thanks

OK - Disclaimer: I have not actually done the following senerio, but this is what I would do if I were in your shoes.:teeth:

I would try to get done in time to see the parade. You won't get curbside seats this way, but if you don't mind watching from a few people back, then I think you can do both.

Arrive at H&V about 10 - 15 min early, so you can be seated close to 4. Since it is a buffet, you don't have to spend time ordering and waiting to be served. You should be able to have an enjoyable meal (non rushed) and still be finished in about 50 min.

The parade starts at the back of the park, and moves toward the front. Which is where H&V is. You would have about 10 -15 min to find a less crowded spot to see the parade:

Hollywood and Vine is B, the red dots are the parade route

You can see your options for parade viewing.

Like I said, you won't get front row seats, and if it's super crowded, you might not be able to see at all - but if you know that going in, it's not so bad
