Panama Planning

:lmao: I used the term cardi because a couple are to go with the formal outfits. Then I like one for the flights. Then I ask myself - what about this colour outfit, or that, and lay out yet another colour!!!:lmao: :lmao:

None of them are actually sweater's or sweatshirts either.

I know, I laid out all the Castaway T shirts we had collected.....Most went back into the closet...pity, I like them.....

May I suggest that do do bring something to keep you warm. As a native of L.A. I can tell you about this thing we have called May Gray/June Gloom. As we come up the cost of Baja, it may and can get cold out on the water and the sun may never come out. In 05' I can tell you as we were coming up the Baja coast it was very wind, cold, and the sun never came out on that last day.

I am taking my Dive Jacket/coat because I will be freezing when I come out of the water...

Wonder how that will look with a formal dress??????:rotfl:

Geez, now I need to pack a black sweater....

Course that will look just as tacky with a fomal dress...

OK, problem solved, take the inside stairs on windy, cold days -

OF WHICH THERE WILL BE NONE.....

Well, I don't know how many you were going to pack, but I would say you will only need them for the last two sea days.

I need to cover the old lady arms on formal nights.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Somehow that matters - the rest of the time in strappy tees or a cossie it doesn't!:confused3 ;)

I am telling you, you could not be more wrong. The last two day at sea can and just may be very cold and windy. But if you choose not to believe me and then need a jacket, I will rent mine to you for a drink an hour.

I wasn't actually thinking of taking a jacket. I though I could layer, then I have a little roll up waterproof jacket that is light to pack that I could then pop on top if it is a bit damp as well.

I have another favor for the WB repo crew. Can someone please post the kid's Navigators too? I read that they're switching up the age groups and putting the 11-13 yo primarily in Ocean Quest. I'm just curious to see if they have enough activities going on for them.

Thanks and have a great cruise! I can't believe it's almost here for y'all!

I think the extra $25 or $50 is probably worth it to avoid the stress. In fact, I would bring an extra suitcase inside another one for room to bring stuff home. I realize that no one wants to waste money, but IMHO the stress is not worth it.

I am imagining myself at UPS shipping stuff home because I bought too much and thinking...UGH that $50 would have been worth it. For the record, I speak from experience...

You're probably right, I don't know how I can pay so much for a cruise, and yet spending $25-50 for an extra piece of luggage is making me crazy. Probably because it's a new fee, and that really bugs me.

ugh, I am going to need a jacket too?
Are you really bringing a jacket? I didn't think that we'd need one isn't the weather going to be very warm or even hot? Was just planning on bringing a sweater in case it's chilly in the ship in certain spots.

Trust me, it can get cold with the wind and everything. Again, I just may have to rent my jacket for a drink an hour.

You will probably get takers from the Florida folk who get cold at 80deg!!!:lmao:

THANK YOU - THANK YOU for the the real life warnings.....honest......but I still want to dream that we will have perfect weather...:cloud9:

OK, how cold are we talking? 68 degrees may be cold for a Floridian, but for us 'Nawthonas', it's called summer.

I was thinking about getting a taxi to Long Beach, renting a car and then going to San Diego..

Just thought someone would have a better mode of transportation than the idea of a taxi.. ;)

So true!

It was only 37* here this morning when my kids were leaving for the bus. And they are calling for a high of 52*. My ds12 was dressed in shorts and a t-shirt and I had to force him to put a hoodie on.
