My youngest graduates college in June, so DH and I are finally free to book Panama Canal for ourselves. We just turned Gold. We'd like a deck 2 oceanview. Which one is more likely to have that availability, the fall 26 eastbound or spring 27 westbound? DH prefers spring 27 just because it's later, more time to save up for it.

My guess would be a toss up...but maybe 2026 would book up faster, since some people cannot schedule vacations out into 2027. Enjoy which ever one you get!

I would guess spring just because it's further out. But if you aren't picky about room choice, I think you'll be good to get a deck 2 oceanview for either.

Keep in mind that the 2026 PC sailing had a lot of rumors that it would be the last PC sailing and the last sailing for the magic because she was off the schedule afterwards… there were plenty of reasons why it sold out as fast as it did. I think you have a really good shot.

We were able to easily get Verandahs for the 2022 WBPC and 2023 EBPC as Silver.
There were 2 PC released at the same time for the 2023 sailings.

We were really surprised that the 2026 went so fast (as were the majority of the people in the FB group that week). We were Gold for the first time, and our TA booked us right away when it opened early. We had originally planned to get a Verandah again, but the price increase from Pearl to Platinum days made us decide to switch to deck 2. Reports were that deck 2 was full before "official" Gold day opening. Many who had tried for a Verandah that day ended up on deck 1.

Keep in mind that if by some chance you don't get a room on Gold day, rooms will most likely open up at 12a Friday, due to any Pearl that didn't make the deposit. A lot of Silver were able to book at that time. :) It will be the same for when Platinum's 3 days time expires, etc.

We've sailed the PC twice now. We like WB because you keep turning the clocks back an hour as you pass through each time zone. I'd much rather do that than to keep turning forward. Every minute matters.

We booked an IGT rate on the 2014 WBPC in January for the May sailing. Times have changed! But I think these new ones will not sell out as quickly as the 2026 WBPC did. It hadn‘t been offered in such a long time and the rumors about being the last one were creating that high demand.
