I am thinking about renting a PAL Mickey for a day when I will be doing Magic Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios. Because I will be starting the day at one park and finishing it at another, I am concerned about where to rent Mickey. DO I have to rent him at a park or can I rent him at my resort?

I was at the Disney Store today and a cm just returned with Pal Mickey. He was so cute and smaller than I had pictured. You can only get him at the resorts, not in the parks. We are leaving next week and I know I will buy at least one! He even talks and plays games when you are home.:D

Pal Mickey is now available in all the parks. Initially only in resorts but now everywhere

My friend,George, who works there, surprised the heck out of me when he sent me MY Pal a couple weeks ago.He got it in Mouse Gears in EPCOT. I think once ya see him you'll fall in love.I have 2 boys but this Mickey IS MINE!:p I have let the kids play with him though!!!

Mickey was confused for the first day,he kept saying stuff like we were in the MK! I know we have alot of Disney stuff around the house buuuuttttt!!! I told the kids it was because George didn't put any airholes in poor Mick's box for his trip from FL to TN!!! The next day he was working fine. He's fun even here at home. We've played many, many games with him!We all can't wait to take him on our trip in Oct.

How expensive is Pal Mickey? Is he pretty tough? If my 3 year old DD wants to play with him and would drop him, will he still work? She has a Ferby that we take everywhere, I am picturing Pal Mickey as a cross between Ferby and the Mickey head hand held games in the parks last year. Thanks for the info.:)

Thanks. Is he available for rent at every Resort or just the delux ones? I plan on staying at Caribbean Beach and was wondering if I could rent one there or if they only rent them from the Delux resorts like Contemporary or Grand Floridian.

Pal Micky cots about $50, if you would like to rent him, he is $8 with a $50 Credit Card Deposit ( your card wont be charged unless u take mickey home with you).

i'm not sure... but what it sounds like is that he is only availbe for rent at the parks since you can only have him for the day..... but I could be wrong... :p

Do they have these at Disneyland too? And if so are they inter-compatible? (eg. WDW's works at DL, DL's works at WDW)

Sorry if this has already been addressed.

Sorry if my info was incorrect about him not being available at the parks; I thought that was what the cm at the Disney Store told me and she was just in WDW and got hers.

As a DVC member, I was told that I could rent him free and that I could get him at my resort when I checked in.

I'm sure someone must know the answers to our questions. If not, I'm going next week and can tell you when I get back.

All I know is that he is ADORABLE! and I can't wait to get mine!

My understanding is that Pal Mickey is now at all the resorts. I know you can rent/buy him at Epcot.

$46.94 is the price on the box of My Pal Mickey.I think he's a pretty good investment as a souvenir. You figure if you rent him for every park that's 4 parks = $32.He plays 3 different games so you can still interact with him once you're home. And the main reason George sent us one...he's brand spanking new and hasn't been slobbered on by anyone!!!

I'm not sure how tough he is.The interactive chip is in his nose and it seem pretty sturdy.

BenS...I'm sure he only works at WDW Parks.Ihaven't heard if DL has their own version yet.

Is he available in the World of Disney yet? And if so are they allowing you to get the disney club discount on him? I'm going to buy him anyway but it sure would be nice if I could use my discount.

bumpity bump!

I'd like to know if World of Disney has them yet, too. If so, that will be my first stop from the airport to the parks!

We are DVC members. We rented our Pal Mickey at the BC store for one day. Returned him and got a new one in a box with the $8 deducted from the selling price with the coupon we got when we checked in.
