Booking soon for a trip in March,2012. Need two bedroom and studio in the Paddocks. Will have two grandchildren and immediate family down for my son's wedding in WDW. Have stayed in Congress Park before and loved the location ,but thought that the new pool area would be a better location for my daughter,son-in-law and children. Any recommendations?

Time will tell if the Paddock becomes a big draw. My second choice would be the Grandstand, as it has a great pool, child play area, nice hot tub and pool bar. It is a VERY short walk to the main pool, also.

With the Paddock improving the pool, the Carrousel may be more inviting as well.

And the Grandstand is a short walk away from the boat dock since walking to DTD from there might not be too appealing when you're tired. But a nice little cruise over would be fun and relaxing!

Dizy Dad and Finding Figment - Thank You for replying. I'll look into the Grandstand and Carrousel. This trip is really exciting for the family, my son is getting married in WDW on this trip. He brought his fiance down in January and proposed. I am the wedding co-ordinator and have been busy with the wedding consultant in WDW. Finding the right place to stay for this trip is important ,but my son was easy -Congress Park where they stayed in January.

We stayed in Congress Park in January too and fell in love! :lovestruc I think there's no bad choice at SSR in my opinion, especially after the new Paddock pool opens. Just book SSR now then add your room request on later after you think about it some more.
