We have so far -

10-12 outfits per person, extra socks and underwear, etc. 3 swimsuits, 2 pairs of sneaks and 1 pr. of sandals each.

First aid kit w/bandaids, tylenol, pepto, moleskin. Stroller.

Sunscreen, sunglasses, chapstick sunscreen.

Backpacks, fannypacks, water bottle holders, misting fans, gameboys, lots of AA batteries. Fun stuff to do on the plane.

Four small suitcases full of bottled water! This will be pretty funny at the airport. One big suitcase full of poptarts, coffeecakes, snack stuff, juiceboxes, etc.

Camera, camcorder, and battery charger. Talkabout radios and charger. I need to buy film and tapes - how much should I get for 10 days and what speed film works best?

Disney FTP vouchers, Connections vouchers.

What am I missing?

I always pack a bottle of that Downey dewrinkling spray. It works great to get the wrinkles out of tee shirts and shorts.:D

Alright, Fellow Traveller...

I never leave home with Motrin and Exedrin. :p

How about shampoos/lotions/bathroom things...

Tickets!

I'll keep checking my list, too!

How's the packing going?

I debating whether to pack a change of clothes for each of the kids (I have one for the 3 yo). I did this last time, and sure enough, on the FIRST leg of the flight, she spilled juice all down the front of her! Boy, did I feel SMART when I took out the extra outfit! lol :Pinkbounc

How about cough medicine? On our first trip, dd came down with a cold during the trip and kept us ALL up by coughing all night. So I went down to the AKL gift store and purchased this LITTLE TINY bottle of Tylenol Cough and Cold medicine for almost $9! AND it didn't work... lol. We were all tired and cranky from no sleep towards the end... now I bring my WHOLE DARN MEDICINE cabinet with me! I have... Motrin, Children's Motrin, Thermometer, Exedrin, Pamprin  , Delsym (cough medicine), Triaminic Soft Chews, plus your regular first aid kit. lol...

Do you have a spare camera? Or disposable cameras for the kids? Last trip my son dropped our digital on the ground by the pool... YEP! broken! So, no pics. This time we are bringing two cameras. Plus cameras for the kids to take some blurry (I mean nice) pictures with.

Only a few more days!! Are you 'cited?

Karen

More medicine is a great idea. I forgot the thermometer. I should pack Benadryl. Who knows how we'll react to the flora in Florida. Aside from this and our toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and film, I am completely packed. :teeth: I have our good camera and an old 35mm for our oldest son who loves to take pictures. oh, and 2 disposable waterproof ones for the waterparks!

I am not excited. I am NOT a good flyer so I can't really think past the flight. It occured to me today as I was driving to work that we actually might survive our flight :o and we really will be doing all these activities that I have planned! Morbid, I know. Just wait til we get in to MCO - I will be ECSTATIC!!! I might even do a Clark Griswald and have the limo driver stop the limo so that I can take a picture of the Walt Disney World gates.

Maybe we will run into your family on Tuesday at MGM!!!! And no fair - you get to leave 2 hours before we do. *pout*

Laura

Alright, now! First off, you WILL get there and do all the wonderful things you have planned! So relax... (I am talking myself into it also! lol)

Second, at MGM on Tuesday, this is what my family will look like...

dh = tall (6'6"), short hair with no-rim glasses
me = 5'4", short brown hair, really frazzled looking and probably sunburned! lol

ds7, dd4 (most likely whining) and dd3 (most likely asleep).

Now to make matters funnier... we will be with another family, with three kids under 6. So... if you see us, say HI! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

So, get excited now!! We will make it and have a GREAT time! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

PS... where are you flying FROM? We are flying out of Buffalo, NY with a NON-stop :Pinkbounc flight into MCO... 7:30am-9:55am! :Pinkbounc

Yay!

Karen

Ok, ok. I will snap out of it. LOL. Not.

I think I'll be able to find you with all of those kiddos! WOW!

We have four of our own - DS7 and a DS4 (plus two older - DS10 and DD11). We'll be flying out of BWI at 9 but we have a 2 hour layover in Atlanta. We're trying to get bumped to a nonstop earlier in the day. Going straight to the Dolphin and jumping in the pool!:sunny: :teeth:

I think you know what I look like - (see below). LOL.

See ya there!!!!

Just make sure none of your suitcases weigh more than 50 lbs. otherwise you'll be charged for an overweight suitcase.

My friend was visiting from NM last week ... her suitcase weighed 60 lbs and she was charged $25.

Naturally I just bought a HUGE suitcase ... figured it would be better than hauling two small ones ... wrong ... weight wise you're better off with two small ones <sigh>!

If anyone chews gum, buy it now, Disney doesn't sale it? I wonder why?

How about a one time use under water camera for the kids? DS wanted one when we went to Blizzard Beach, but I wasn't about to buy one there.

Have a great trip and please post a trip report when you get back.

I have a 3 year old DD and she needs the little paper toilet covers. I got them at Walmart - in their "travel stuff" section. I bought so many last year I didn't need to buy some this year. And Hand cleaner/sanitizer is always good. You can pick up most of this stuff when you get there but also bug repellent.

I usually pack SHOUT stain wipes and carry at least one everywhere. This will take care of red spilled juice etc. I only allow clear liquids on the plane down to help with possible stains from spills.

I got hooked on baby wipes and even though my dd has been potty trained for years I can't leave home without them! They come in so handy: dirty faces, dirty hands, etc.

Hand sanitizer

Rain ponchos

Dramamine - comes in handy for anyone who is motion sick OR who may have nauseau during the trip (works both ways great!)

We usually plan one laundry day for a trip that long and bring half the amount of outfits.
