Agreed. It is not that hard if one is disciplined on what to leave behind. I can do about 6 days in a carry on and under seat bag. One of the keys is limiting shoes.

I wouldn't think I would commit myself to the 22", but it makes me realize I sure didn't meet the 47 lbs of stuff I lugged. Even allowing for taking home souvenirs, I can minimize to 26" and a backpack with the electronics.
