Packing Cubes

I want to order some packing cubes for our trips this year. I think they will be super useful for our split stays. I'm just wondering how many and what size I need. We are a family of 3 - DH & I and a 2 year old. I like the idea of a different color for each person. I found a good deal on the Dot & Dot 3 piece sets and I like them better than the eBags sets because they are double sided. The problem is I can only get them in 2 different colors but I guess that's okay. Will a 3 piece set for each of us be enough for our clothes? I have read a ton of reviews and watched some youtube videos but I still am not sure what we need.

My other question, does anyone use these in vera bradley bags? I like to pack our clothes in my 2 vera bradley duffel bags but not sure if the large bags will fit.

I suppose it depends on how many clothes you plan to bring. I generally pack the same no matter where we are going and length of vacations vary. I would think that 3 cubes each would be sufficient. Also, it depends on the size of them. I use 2 of the larger ones, and a medium for my clothing. I use the small size for things like: a laundry/sewing/extra Ziploc container to keep in the bottom of my suitcase, and a first aid kit with daily meds/sunscreen to take into the parks.

On the other hand - these are fun and great for organization, but the various sizes of Ziploc bags work great if you're budgeting.
