Ok, here is the response from the mom. I thought I would just PM it out, but it may be helpful for everyone.

Hello there, Thank you so much for your message. That is a VERY generous offer to help me with some designs.I have really enjoyed looking at the boards at all of your designs and have been in awe of your beautiful work.I am a crafty person by nature but don't do well in this area! If you would be willing to help with anything I would be very grateful!

My daughter Hannah is the wish child. She is almost 10.She wears about a size 10.Her favorite is Cinderella. She is crazy about any of the princesses though. She is also in Love with Bullseye from Toy story, and of the Jungle book characters, lion king, bambi.Well, I guess there really isn't a disney movie she does not like. She is pretty well obsessed with any and all disney. She is very much a girly girl and loves pink and sparkles.
My son Logan is 5.He wears around a size 5 and tends to be on the tiny side. His favorite is the movie Cars.Lightning McQween is is favorite. He also likes Toy story .He loves all things fish and is looking forward to Sea World. Both kids are nuts about Finding Nemo.
Anything any of you would be willing to help with would be wonderful. Thanks so much, Heather

Their trip will be 7 days long, so I am hoping to be able to come up with 7 outfits for each child.

I am also a scrapbooker so if we have more talented people than I willing to make outfits...I could also premake some scrapbook pages for mom.

These outfits are so cute.

Here's a 4th of July headband I just finished:

I love this headband!!!

Hi Everyone,

Here is Abby in the watermelon outfit I made her. I used some peoples suggestion about 1 button on the shoulder, and found watermelon buttons to use there!!

I think it looks perfect on her the way it is. How was the roundneck pattern? Is it the one from YCMT? I have been debating buying it for a few weeks now. I love the look but am not sure if i could do it. I have the easy fit pants down :cool1: The Carla C aline gave me a little trouble figuring out how to close the final side. But I got it. I tried a commercial pattern and wanted to throw it out the window!! :confused3 I am pretty new to sewing. What did you think?

ok everyone, I'm ordering petti (3) any ideas on color. just curious if anyone has them and the colors they like. I'm at a stand still, I'm wanting 2 all white, but the lady I'm ordering from doesn't have them. I just odered a red, with black and white. Don't know which kid will where that for halloween. I already have 2 of the disney petti. My girls love to wear the pettiskirts. I'm just needing some input. Thnaks

Hmmm, depends on what thier favorite colors are and what you have the most of in thier wardrobes. I have a pic of a color swatch on my website that might help you decide. Here is a link: http://mommastouch.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=13&zenid=4b4d175c53ccdd67336c21790081cd56
You might consider asking her to make a solid black one because that will go with everything.

Leighanna is six, and her teeth are just now starting to come out. The other front tooth is a little loose, but I am not going to pull it out.
We went to Cedar Point last week.
Here is a photo with Snoopy in the top I made her for Valentine's Day.

Oh my goodness, she's adorable!

From reading the pre-tr I think the mom is really into scrapbooking, so maybe some Disney scrapbooking supplies?

I'm going to make a Bullseye themed outfit for Hannah! I have no ideas on a design yet, but that's what I'm making! :rotfl2:

I think that is a great idea! I did a MAW give several years ago with a group of friends. We premade entire scrapbooks and donated them to MAW and they gave them to families that they were sending to Disney. I think it would be great to do something (scrapbooks, autograph books, passports, journals or something) to go with the outfits.

I did read that this family already has autograph books. I'm not sure about scrapbook pages though.

You have got to be kidding! You are so incredibly talented. You can whip up things faster than just about anyone that I know!

OK! Sign me up for scrapbook stuff for mom then. I let the people with the nice sewing machines make the clothes! I would happily do an Mickey Head appliqued Tshirt (or something else relatively easy to do when you have to applique "by hand") if need be. Just keep me posted.

Tom - I never realized you were in Ohio...my DH is from up in north east Ohio, just outside of Akron, a town called Cuyahoga Falls.

He went to Cedar Point as a kid, but moslty they went to Geauga Lake. We plan on taking a trip with the kids year after next and hit all the parks up there and some down here around NC...we can get a season pass that gets us into all of the parks and the one near here.

On the teeth...my middle one that is 6 has not lost any teeth and the dentist said it may still be a while. DS is okay with that!

I lived in Cuyahoga Falls until I was 18! We went to Cedar Point every year! I miss it so much!

We lived in Aurora, OH (where Geauga Lake is and where Sea World used to be) for a year (about 9 years ago). We never made it to Cedar Point though.

As for your weather, we are supposed to have a whole string of days coming up at 100 or over starting Friday. I'll trade your weather with mine if you pay my electric bill!!!!! I am :scared1: of how high it will be next month. The lows are only around 79-80 at night so we aren't getting any break.

I have to hem dds and adjust the back elastic, I think it is a little loose. I also might add a ruffle. I will be doing an applique of some sort on ds shirt.

ry%3D320

I made the shorts and found this shirt a kohls on clearance. It matches pretty good don't you think??

ry%3D320
ry%3D320

I had a ruffle on this but it did NOT look good in fact it was hideous so it gone!! I think I will just hem it. It was the fabric choices that were bad the ruffle was cute.

I also cooked up some curly ribbons so I am hoping to make my first corker bow this week! I am really excited about that and I really don't know why! :confused3 :rotfl2:
I have Wall-e shorts almost done I think I ran out of the elastic I need for the waist, I was sure I bought a bunch but now I can't find it :headache:
I also have to finish a pirate outfit for ds friend for a birthday party on saturday. I guess I better get busy that is sounding like a lot to do now that I am typing it
Those are all great! I made my DD a dress out of the fabric you used for your DD's 4th dress. She got more compliments on that than anything else I've ever made her-love that fabric!

I think this is a WONDERFUL idea and I am so glad everyone has been inspired to continue giving in one way or another. It's an amazing thing really - to see how much our kindness and generosity can lift another person's spirts and add a smile to their faces. It's just a beautiful thing and makes me feel so good!!! Thank you everyone!!!

Now I am still quite busy doing some other things for the Winkler's BIG GIVE and then we are going on a road trip to Michigan in a couple weeks so I will unfortuantely be unable to help with this first "Make a Wish Give" but please count me in for future ones!!!

Thank you!!!!
