Is there any special merchandise available for sale at the P&P Party, like they have at MNSSHP and MVMCP?

And is El Pirata y el Perico open before the party starts at all? I was hoping to eat there since it is always closed when I'm there, but I would like to eat before 7:30 when the party begins.

Thanks!! princess:

I'll be at the party tomorrow, I'll let you know about merchandise. As for the restaurant ,on the map it shows that it will be open, now if that's before the party or not is another question

We were there for the first party on Monday!!! It was soooooo much fun!!!!

As for Pirata and Perico, we stopped by there just before 7 because we were starving and they weren't open. So, we rode Pirates of the Caribbean and by the time we were done at about 7:15 they had opened it. I really don't know if it had been open earlier in the day.

I don't remember seeing anything special as in merchandise, although I didn't look that hard. I was really hoping to find a PPP pin. They do of course have tons of pirate gear for sale, including great dreadlocks and a jack sparrow hat.

The party was AMAZING. My dh and I went to the MVMCP in Dec 2005 and (now no flames please) we weren't too thrilled with it. It was nice and all but no biggie for us. But this party was sooooo much fun - and we even got poured on!!! All of the rides are open, plus many of the restaraunts, the parade was sooo great and different than any one I had seen before, and the fireworks - WOW - they were worth the $40 or whatever we spent. They were just unbelievable. I hope somebody gets video so I can see them again.

Have a great time!!!!!

The resturant is usually closed. It only opens during really busy periods (the week of Christmas). So I believe it will be closed now.

There is a limited edition pin. Other then the pin i did not see any special merchandise for sale. The fireworks show is fantastic. Although Wishes has a emotional factor that cannot be touched by any other show, this show is a close 2nd. This show is worth the admission. Every attraction was "walk on". The longest line was for meeting Captain Jack... which was about 40 minutes when we stopped by. I did not like the parade. It was very slow paced and rather boring. The princess float broke down and had to be towed by an emergency vehicle that looked like the carts that pull luggage trains at the airport. I was told the attendance for the 1st night was around 8-9 thousand people. If the numbers stay like that, I highly recommend the ticket because of the walk ons and fireworks.

A couple of my own questions:

Where do you find the pin for the party?

Has anyone done the Liberty Boat ride for the party? Any reviews? I was wondering if it would be a little scary for my younger one.

I'm disappointed that they wouldn't have t-shirts printed up!

Thanks for any help! :)

The CM working the dock at the river boat said the ride is exactly the same, only the announcements are a little different. I got my pins at the register at the emporium.
