Overlapping Times

Hello! I'm looking for clarification.

We are a group of 8. We are splitting up one night for table service dinner.
I made dining reservations through my account. However my family of 4 is on one hotel reservation and the other 3 are on another hotel reservation. I added them as friends and family on my account.

My question:

Myself, DH, DD14 and DD9 have a 5:00 pm reservation at Skippers Canteen on 8/29. I am the lead on that reservation.

My mom, dad and sister have a 5:05 pm reservation and Tony's that same night. I made my sister the lead on that reservation.

When I look at MyDisneyExperience on that night it shows both reservations and says "overlapping times". Will one be automatically cancelled even though the 4 people on one reservation are different from the three people on the other reservation?

I booked the other reservation first and it allowed me to change the lead to my sister. Then when I booked for my four I was designated the lead.
