Over the River and Through the Woods to Mickey's House We Go! And Grandma is in Tow!

That video was so funny!!:rotfl:

Oh and your DHS plans look great! A day for Hunter....he must be soooo excited!! I'm not into high speed car chasing either. But, I really enjoyed Lights Motor Action! I'm sure your mom will like it too!:thumbsup2

Great update Lisa! We did Star Wars Weekend on the first Saturday of it last year. After about 2 hours it got super crowded. We were like this...:crowded:

Be sure to see as many characters as you can and don't miss the special parade. I love the classic Disney characters in Star Wars gear.:thumbsup2 So neat and a rare opportunity.

Hope the news from the Judge's secretary was good news. :goodvibes

Do you remember how the lines were for the attractions? I'm hoping everybody is too busy standing in lines to meet the characters.

The news from the Judge's secretary was just the standard legal mumbo jumbo. Nothing exciting that's for sure.

:lmao: That is tooooooo funny!

Hey, what do you think your odds are of getting Mama "volunteered" to be an extra in the Indiana show? ;) AND, how could you hate Wizard of Oz? :confused3

I would love for Mama to get chosen to do anything. One year, Hunter was chosen to perfom in a street act at Hollywood Studios and it was so funny to watch. He even got a "real fake gold" trophy.

Mama hates Wizard of Oz. Every time they advertise that it's coming on, she turns the channel.

Sounds like you do have a plan for HS day. I would brush up on Star Wars weekends too and try to see what you'll be up against and what a good plan of attack would be. We only have one day put aside for HS too, and last year we only ended up with half a day there because of rain, so we have a lot to cover there too.

I loved the Lights motor action stunt show and this year we want to see Indiana Jones.

I wasn't planning on the backlot tour and great movie ride, but your pics look pretty neat. Do you recommend it?

We also have a reservation for Sci Fi, that rest looks SO neat!!!!

I know that I have to have a better plan before we get to the park but I just can't make myself do any more research. The weather is supposed to be really really bad here this weekend so I figure I'll be inside most of the weekend. Maybe I can do some research then.

Normally, we see and do everything at Hollywood Studios in just a day. However, with it being Star Wars weekends, I'm wondering just how much we'll be able to do.

If you have the time, I'd recommend that you do both the backlot tour and the great movie ride. They are both good.

That's exactly how I reacted when we got our Mickey Mail! :thumbsup2 :lmao: That was so funny Lisa!

I kinda did a little dance too but you won't be seeing it on video.:lmao:

Very cute!

He's the silliest boy!

First...who doesn't like the Wizard of Oz?? I'm not sure that's even legal! ;)

Second.....you go Hunter!! That's exactly how we all feel when the Mickey Mail comes!!

Lacey doesn't really care for Wizard of Oz either. She says the monkey freak her out.

Hunter's always dancing so I knew he'd dance when we told him we got Mickey Mail!

Please thank Hunter for the good laugh that video gave me this morning! :rotfl: He is SO funny! Plus- that is exactly what I want to do when I get Mickey Mail!

Hunter's so ready for Star Wars Weekends! He has all of the movies and a few of the Lego sets.

LMAO! u have an awesome son!!:cheer2:

Isn't he the craziest thing ever!!

I am sitting here at my office desk (thankfully for just another 2 hours) and outside a storm is brewing. They are predicting golf ball size hail, strong winds and lots of rain. We are also under a tornado watch. This bad weather is supposed to continue on through Monday.

Hunter has an orchestra concert on Monday. I hope and pray that the khakis that I bought him back in December still fit him. If not, I'll guess we'll be braving the rain and wind and purchasing new ones. Our church is very laid back with people wearing everything from shorts or jeans to full blown suits so khakis aren't a piece of Hunter's normal wardrobe. So, if we have to buy khakis, I know he won't be wearing them again any time soon.

Hunter and I worked in the garden a little yesterday when I got home. I stopped at McDonald's on the way home so that John could eat fast before delivering a set of cabinets he made for a laboratory on the other side of town.

A couple of our plants are looking a little sad. I think the wind and hail we got last weekend beat 'em down and they may not survive. On the other note, the grass is growing strong. Dang it! I weeded a bit while Hunter watered a few of the plants that were drooping. We were pleased to see that our peas, sunflowers and corn are busting out. Now, if they can just survive this weekend's forecasted weather.

Since John was off on a delivery, I had to tape Survivor for him and I spent some time on the computer trying to make a mural for our countdown calendar. Hunter has a Disney something-or-other Artist program on the computer and I found some really cute pirate/beach themed backgrounds. After three or four attempts, I ended up with a really cute print.

I figure since the weather is going to be bad, I'll be stuck in the house for the most part so maybe, just maybe, we'll get the countdown calendar done. Other than that, no real plans for the weekend.

Hum....any other news? Oh yeah, Mama got her very first Mickey Mail yesterday. No dancin' video of her though.

Shoot, I want to see a video of Mama cuttin' a rug! Wouldn't that be so cute?? :lovestruc

Be careful in the bad weather. They are forecasting some for us as well. :headache: Two rainy weekends in a row. So bad that they cancelled the races this weekend.

I remember the lines to the attractions during SWW being thin in the morning as most people were waiting to see characters. The line for Darth was really long. We waited in that one for Joe. The girls were really antsy. I'm sure the lines to attractions got thicker during the day though. We left around noon and headed back to CBR. I do remember that the wait for Star Tours was obnoxious but we walked right on RNR and ToT. :confused3

 You won't believe it, Lisa, but Kevin has been out of town this week for work, and I was taping Survivor for him, too!

What's with those crazy heroes? When are they going to wise up and vote Russell or Parv off? :confused3

Oh yeah, Mama got her very first Mickey Mail yesterday. No dancin' video of her though.

NOW, that I would like to have seen! :thumbsup2

Girl, don't get me started on Survivor, lol!

I'm sitting through your storms right now. I think they've all passed us for the time being, but they got hit hard south of Little Rock...:sad2:

Good luck with your countdown calendar this weekend! :goodvibes

:woohoo: For Mama and Mickey mail:woohoo:. Our trips are coming up so soon!!!! I am trying not to get overly excited yet because I still have 7 work days left :scared:.

I just let River watch the video of Hunter dancing with the Mickey mail and hes cracking up. He also saw the pic of Lacey where she looks like shes in the dragon mouth and he wants his picture like that!

Oh, my! The video of Hunter dancing to the Mickey Mail just made my night. He is absolutely adorable! A typical boy! That's a great video!!

Only 7?!? I would say that's great cause for excitement. :cheer2: You're there 6 days before me & I am forcing myself not to get out the suitcases yet. Let me count my work days: yuck! 14 counting today, which is halfway over...:rolleyes1

If Hunter had asked Mama to do a dance, she would have done it. He can ask her almost anything and she'd do it. She loves that boy to death.

I read about your van. I sure hope that you don't end up having to get a new vehicle.

I am not sure if we will spend more than one day at Hollywood Studios or not. I have two days that are designated "resort or do whatever days". I also have an extra day of tickets. So, if we have to go back to Hollywood Studios one day, we can.

 You won't believe it, Lisa, but Kevin has been out of town this week for work, and I was taping Survivor for him, too!

NOW, that I would like to have seen! :thumbsup2

Believe it or not, I actually kinda like Russell last year. Only because he was so good at finding the idols. This year, I don't care for him at all. I have NEVER EVER EVER, NEVER EVER EVER, did I say NEVER, liked Parvati. Yuck!

Girl, don't get me started on Survivor, lol!

I absolutely love watching Survivor. I don't ever miss it. If we are outside or John is working or something, I have to tape it.

I was relieved to read that you didn't sustain any damage at your house this weekend. I thought about you a lot.

:woohoo: For Mama and Mickey mail:woohoo:. Our trips are coming up so soon!!!! I am trying not to get overly excited yet because I still have 7 work days left :scared:.

I am about to go crazy waiting on the day we get to leave. You are down to hardly any working days. At least that will give you some time to get all of your bags packed.

I just let River watch the video of Hunter dancing with the Mickey mail and hes cracking up. He also saw the pic of Lacey where she looks like shes in the dragon mouth and he wants his picture like that!

Hunter is such a hoot! He was actually pretty restrained in that video. Usually, he's much more loosey goosey in his dancing.

River should definitely get his pic made with the dragon. It's between the main street and 50s Prime Time. It's a tradition to have Hunter's picture taken there.

Oh, my! The video of Hunter dancing to the Mickey Mail just made my night. He is absolutely adorable! A typical boy! That's a great video!!

Never evera dull moment at our house!

Only 7?!? I would say that's great cause for excitement. :cheer2: You're there 6 days before me & I am forcing myself not to get out the suitcases yet. Let me count my work days: yuck! 14 counting today, which is halfway over...:rolleyes1

Dana is one lucky duck! I have 17 more working days. Wait, I take that back! I forgot, we don't actually count the day we leave so I have 16 more working days.

The weather actually didn't get too bad this weekend. We had just a few showers. The wind did blow a bit and we thought it was going to storm but, thankfully, it never happened.

If Hunter follows in his sister's footsteps, he will never outgrown the silliness. My kids just like to have fun no matter their ages.

We had a wonderful time at the party. It was good to sit and visit with family members I hadn't seen in a while.

The garden is growing like a weed and so is the grass.:guilty:

Lisa, I love the video of Hunter. He is very much like Markie was at that age...very silly (and Markie still has his moments).

You don't have too much longer until your trip. I just realized on Markie's 22nd birthday (maybe I should stop calling him "Markie" now that he is over 21;) ).

6 1/2 now :dance3::banana:. I work 3 12 hour shifts a week so that is the only reason I have so few left. I still have 77 hours to work though :sad2:.

I think I am going to start putting the rest of my clothes in the suitcases Thursday. I bought Dallas his new unmentionables and socks :lmao:. He also got a new bathing suit this past weekend. It is sad to think that he may not get to swim this summer...........THANKS BP.........:sad2:. Sorry for venting on your PTR Lisa :guilty:.

Oh, had to edit. I LOVE the video of Hunter :lmao:. I don't know how I missed it before, :confused3 but that boy must have got into the Cayenne pepper.........:lmao::rotfl2:.

:thumbsup2 I'm the exact same way!

I just wonder who is going next on Survivor? I've extremely p.o.'d at Candice right now.

Hunter acts goofy all the time as do the rest of us. I hope that he continues to be that way. I am around serious people all day long and certainly need a break from that when I am at home.

If Markie doesn't mind you calling him Markie, then I don't see anything wrong with that nickname at all.

I wanted to start packing our bags too but I am still picking up a few things here and there. I did get a bag together that has a few odds and ends in it. That, at least, made me think I had accomplished something Disney-like.

Dont' worry about venting about BP. I think it's so sad that our gulf coasts are more than likely going to be destroyed by the oil. So very very sad!

Hunter is a hoot and a half. He was actually pretty restrained in that video.
