Outdoor Dining at Ariel's Grotto

Called (probably a couple days too late) for dining reservations for WOC Ariel's Grotto for early October. My choices were 4:10 indoors or 5:30 outdoors. So I decided to take the outdoor reservation.

I'm wondering if I made the right choice. If by chance the weather is bad, would I lose my reservation? Is the afternoon sun going to make it really warm out there? Or am I being too paranoid... I'm sure the view will be great. It's just that my MIL is coming along too.... so I want to make a good impression.

We've eaten outdoor a couple times at AG and it's really nice. If it happens to rain, there's an awning that will keep you perfectly dry, so I don't think they'll cancel your PS due to the weather. Same with it being too hot, the awning will protect you from the sun.

We prefer to sit outside. We love the atmosphere and the view of all the rides going.

Outdoor used to not be so nice, when they were doing WoC construction and the water was drained. But now, I think it's nice and totally fine It's a few bucks cheaper too ...
