Out of the Parks- Photos in 1st Posts

The convention is Saturday, so can I let you know then? I also have to get stuff for DS as he is participating. :) Thanks for the offer. I have some ideas that don't involve speciality papers and the like... :rolleyes1

Silly girl, of course you don't have to tell me right now. I'll just put the scrap paper in a plastic baggie and then forget I have it until I buy the same thing-again.

Does anyone have one of the acid test pens? I'd love it if you could test a Lego block. I thought those would be good accents since I don't have the brads.

I don't believe I've seen these elements listed together on any swap list, so I thought I'd ask...

If two photo mats, two tags, a box & tag, and a pocket & tag are considered one element, could a photo mat & tag also be counted as one element?

If we could, that would be great. I'd love to be able to use the inside piece from the frame for a tag. Less wasted paper that way.

Good idea, AWM. I wasn't even thinking that way. I don't have a frame die, but I could cut the tags from the middle of the back mats using the Cricut. Once covered with the top mat, you wouldn't see it.

That would be fine with me.

I bought my paper over the weekend at Hobby Lobby (bazzill bling packs at 1/2 off) Now to just figure out the embelishments.

Also should they be for 4x6 photos or 5x7 photos? or one of each?
Thanks.

Photo mats are generally for 4 by 6 photos.

I couldn't find this thread last night. Must have been too tired. :rolleyes1 Anyway, I finished the lego slide mounts. Made them instead of tags. Hope no one minds. I have all of my stuff for the FW stuff. Just need to get Jango movin'! :)

I got it today. Everything looks great. I love the large goofy and the photo mats for the lego group are fantastic. Your crowns are very pretty.

Rebecca

Thanks. I was concerned about the photo mats. They look a little plain but once the photo is in place I really liked it.

Is there a size recommendation for circular journaling boxes?

Or would a circular box be considered an oxymoron?

Anyway, I've got an idea and need to know if a circle would be okay, and if so, should I use a 3" or 4" circle since a box is 3"x4"? I'm thinking a 4" one may be too big once matted the way I intended, but at the same time, wondering if a 3" circle would be considered too small for journaling.

A circular one would be fine. I would say anything between a 3 and 4 inch circle would be fine (You may want to split the difference and go with 3.5 if a 3 in seems too small). for the journalling. As you say much larger and it dwarfs the whole page. I have gotten circular journal boxes before and enjoyed using them.

My Group A is bagged.

My Group B turned into McDonalds - I forgot about pretzels. So change me please and it is bagged.

My group C is done for the general spot. It' s theme is pretty - I think it is pretty. The ribbon on it reminded me of a shirt I saw and was pretty but wouldn't wear myself. Anywho. I didn't turn it into anything...It is very general so it can work for anything.

group H - I have an idea..........

Group I2 - Change me to squares. It will also match my Group k. It is cut out...just have to emboss and stitch.

Group K - Everything is cut out for Lego store - I have to emboss the paper to make it look like Legos now.

Group L- the title is cut out as is everything else...just have to assemble

Group M - No Clue. I am officially clueless.

I don't know what I am going to do for the restaurant page kit but will figure out something different than the others that are posted for.

Thanks

I made a different element.........Instead of 2 mats or 2 tags....I made a mat and a tag.

For my lego group.

Thanks
