~Our March 'Just Engaged',freezing,and full of surprises trip~Updated 6/23 p.76

I love your pics! They are so beautiful. I think we are going to try to make it for the F&G fest sometime either when the kids are a bit older or when we can take an Adults only trip! Cant wait to read more!!!

More great pictures! I loved the princess topiaries too. :goodvibes

I agree that each country in the World Showcase definitely needs to be explored! And without the sun beating down on you! This past trip was the first time that I went into Morocco. It was AMAZING. I didn't even feel as if I were in a Disney park anymore. I can't believe I waited so long to explore!

Oh yum!!!!! I sure do love the grey goose slushie!!! I can't wait to get one when I go back!!

I love all the topiary pictures!! So cute!

I always wanted to try Le Cellier but I don't eat red meat and it seems that's mostly what's there. Everyone raves about it though and I'm glad you two enjoyed it so much! :thumbsup2

I am not huge on red meat either so I had their chicken and LOVED it. One of the best meals of our trip, you should still give it a shot!

Glad you guys had the Filet at Le Cellier. It is DA BOMB!!!! I eat filet often (because of work) and I would put that up against any filet I've ever had. MMMM Did you try the cheese soup?

Loved your dessert choices. We picked the same ones you did! popcorn::

I've only had one sip of the Grey Goose slushy. Mel hogs it all the time. :rolleyes1

I'll be waiting for more. :goodvibes

I think the gardenare in Canad is one of the prettiest places in all of Epcot. I'm glad you got to explore a little and plan to do more this summer.

The one and only time we have been to LeCellier, I was not a bit hungry, so I have to go back sometime on an empty stomach to give it a fair shot.

Lots of good pictures. I'd love to be strolling around WS tonight.

I'm so excited we were able to explore too. The pics definitely persuaded the family to explore with us in July!

Oh, I hope you do make it back to Le Cellier sometime!

Wonderful day in World Showcase! I love taking time to stop and appreciate all the little details. Lunch at Le Cellier sounded great. I love the topiaries. Thanks for sharing those pics! It's so amazing that they do all that just for a few weeks of the year.

Lunch was definitely great!

I can't believe how much they put into the F&G Festival!

Thanks! I hope you make it there sometime for the Festival! It really is a nice time of the year.

Thanks girl! Aren't they neat?!

I can't wait for you to have one! But not until after the baby is born!! :upsidedow

I always get the Filet there. It's hard to pick anything else.

We did want to try the cheese soup and then we completely forgot to order it! :headache: I have made it from our Disney cookbook though for Christmas and it is a huge hit! I'd love to see what it tastes like from the actual restaurant though.

Next time, get your own slushie!

I haven't posted yet but I have been lurking and keeping up. Le Cellier is my favorite place to eat in Epcot. I loved the filet. For the last 2 trips I've tried to get back in but have had no luck.

Glad you have de-lurked!!

Le Cellier has to be my favorite TS at Epcot! It is a pretty busy place!

The gardens are actually like that where I live! Actually all of "Canada" really reminds me of Victoria. :lovestruc

Glad you liked Canada, and the grey goose slush. Even if I hated WDW :scared1: I would go back just for that drink.

My DH was the same way with the cars at TT (and cars anywhere). I just let him take his time.... then remind him later of how good of a wife I was! lol

Found it and LOVED IT! The update, that is.

I wish I hadn't be hurried along last time we were there for F&G!! I was so mad at my parents for rushing us like that! I really saw none of it!

Ah well.

I think it's so great you and DF decided to really slow down and look for details and sit to soak up the atmosphere with a Grey goosie!!

I"ve never seen the little behind place in Canada! I 'll have to look for it next time.

I was laughing at your DF ogling over the cars. :rotfl2: I guess giving him some space to do the things he's interested in makes it even more fun for him too. :goodvibes Something for everyone at Disney!! :thumbsup2

Yayyyy I am finally all caught up with this report. Have I mentioned you and your fiance are just totally adorable???

You ate at two of my favorite restaurants in WDW in one day... Kona and Le Cellier. YUMMO. What a great day touring around WS and Epcot. You saw a bunch of F&G Fest stuff that we missed. We spent a lot of time in Epcot and I had no idea that Princess & the Frog area was even there. It's crazy how you can see SO much and still miss so much too.

Anyway I am really enjoying this TR. I especially loved the quiet in your pictures. If that makes sense. The earliest we got up on our trip was 7:30... I don't know if I could do 6 o'clock but now I want to! I really want to do a pre-park opening ADR somewhere. I can't believe it was dark while you were on the bus and that the bus driver told you guys that... I always feel bad when people are given wrong info by CMs.. I try and correct it without sounding like too much of a know-it-all. :rolleyes1 We had a couple of crazy bus drivers ourselves.. but that is a story for my TR!

Can't wait for more!!popcorn::popcorn::

I have to agree that the Filet Mignon from Le Cellier is one of the best meals on WDW property! Mmmm!! :cloud9:

I know what you mean about exploring the WS--we spent about 6 hours last year exploring each country and meeting characters...it was one of my favorite days of our honeymoon, plus there a ton of great photo spots!! You must do it next time you go! :goodvibes

Love all the pictures, so pretty!!

That is so neat! I've always wondered how accurate the countries are.

I could not imagine hating WDW!

Haha, sounds like me!

Thanks Liesa!

It was really one of our best days at Epcot ever!

Yeah, you will have to find it!

TT is one of his favorite things at Epcot.

Hey! Glad you made it home safe from your trip!

It is amazing how much you can do and still miss something.

I'm glad you're liking the TR so far. I completely get the "quietness" of the pics. It was pretty weird getting up at 6 am! But as you can see by the pics, it was totally worth it.

I know, I feel bad for people who get wrong info. too. I've corrected people before, but I didn't want to seem like a know-it-all on the bus this time so I kept my mouth shut until we were walking. Hopefully someone heard me. :rotfl:

Love all the pictures, so pretty!!

Can you believe we didn't meet 1 single character the whole trip?!

Glad you are enjoying the pics. We tried hard to get some good ones!

loved seeing all the topiary characters, and will make sure to look out for the waterfall in Canada too, wonder is it in reference to niagra?

definitely going to try the filet in le cellier! and the mousse/moose is so cute! DBF might get it, i'm saving my dessert calories for funnel cake that evening!:worship:

Love  your pics of the Flower festival. My Mom turns 70 next year and I am planning to surprise her with a trip to WDW to see the flowers. She is a master gardener and has longed to see the festival.

Oooh, I never thought about Niagra! You might be on to something! :thumbsup2

I hope you do try the Filet. It is SO good!

Yum..funnel cake!

Thanks! She will love it! You are so nice to surprise her with that. There's still an update or two of this day, so there will be more pics!

We aren't morning people either. But, after this trip, we've changed our minds! And Mom, Dad, and Sis are interested in it after seeing our pics too!

I just love the WL boat dock. It is so beautiful. :cloud9:

Haha, sounds like you made the decision yourself! That's probably a good idea to try it at Capt.Cook's. Probably cheaper!

Welllllll, I made an ADR for a Kona breakfast for our summer trip! But, since I'm still not sure how I'll like the Tonga Toast I'm thinking I'll get the macadamia nut pancakes at Kona and still do Capt Cook's another day. :)

I always wanted to try Le Cellier but I don't eat red meat and it seems that's mostly what's there. Everyone raves about it though and I'm glad you two enjoyed it so much! :thumbsup2

Kristen - we ate there in December and my cousin's wife doesn't eat red meat either; she got the gnocchi and it was delicious!!! I love gnocchi and will usually order it anywhere they serve it...but here, I had to go with the filet.

Our waitress came and she was so excited about our engagement. She kept congratulating us every time she came to the table. It was so cute. We ordered our food and it actually came out quick! We both had the filet mignon, which comes with mushroom risotto. It is to die for! Fiancé said it was the best meal he’s ever had at WDW. Le Cellier is now his favorite restaurant! Ha. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse and Fiancé had the s’mores. When our plates came, we saw that our waitress gave us a little surprise! Our plates were decorated for our celebration!:

I totally agree!!!! :thumbsup2

The more we go to Epcot, the more we like it! :cloud9:
