~Our March 'Just Engaged',freezing,and full of surprises trip~Updated 6/23 p.76

Bummer that Soarin' had such a long wait, it really draws the crowds.

I bought the tink bird bath, and wish I would have also purchased the hummingbird feeder. They were so cute, but it was difficult to bring home on the plane, without checking a bag.:rotfl: I really love:lovestruc the bird bath, I hope your Mom and Dad like it too.

Can't wait to see your review of LC, I hope you had a great meal. Didn't you just love the Bambi and Thumper Topiaries near Canada. Such a great time of year to visit Epcot.

Love all the F&GF pictures, girl! :thumbsup2

They did have some really cute garden stuff there. We got my mom a Tinkerbell windchime. Right now she has it hanging in the house though. That is awesome about the Kerplunk game, I remember having one of those when I was younger! Only mine was the not cool version without green aliens. haha

Sounds like a great afternoon. Bummer about the Soarin wait being so long though.

The Flower and Garden Festival is so pretty! Just beautiful!

I also love Living with the Land--living on a farm, it's something that's really interesting to me. Someday I'm going to do the Behind the Seeds Tour. I think it would be awesome--dh and I are always looking for innovative and environmentally friendly things to do on the farm. We really started looking into it with our chickens--we have a small, not yet profitable (ha!) organic eggs farm, but we are looking for innovations with vegetables and I think the Behind the Seeds Tour would be helpful (and a tax write-off).

Yeah, it was a bummer. We knew it would probably be long though.

They are cute, aren't they?! That's cool you got the bird bath! My parents love it!

It is really the perfect time to visit Epcot, you are right!!

Thanks! Epcot finally didn't hate us! :rotfl:

I bet the windchime is cute!

It would be awesome to do the tour!

We were in love with all the flowers across the water:

This is my favorite picture. I love the flowers in the front. The whole thing looks like it is in some perfect world. I wish it was my backyard (which is FAR from being a perfect world).

I have not been on the boat ride in the Land since I was a teenager. I really need to do it again. I think it looks interesting.

My favorite part of the Mexico boat ride is by the restaurant too. And you have the volcano on the other side. :cloud9:

You did a fantastic job on your pictures! I love the one of the purple flowers in the foreground and the floating flowers in the water!!

Riding that "Donal" ride, reminds me of the going past the Blue Bayou at DLR! So cool!

We have always loved Living with the Land! Not boring at all to us. It makes me want to come home and grow a magnificent garden every time! I never follow through, unfortunately.

Your Flower & Garden pictures are making this wait harder! I can't wait to see all the beauty again

From what I have read, if someone hasn't already said this, is that the Cantina will now serve a dual purpose - table service and counter service. We'll see in a few months, I guess, what the real story is.

Great update - I love living in the land - it is a great relaxing ride and always fun for me to see all the stuff they are growing! Can't wait to hear about LeCellier (our favorite restaurant in all of DW). Keep the updates coming - it is getting me pumped for my upcoming trip!

Love the pics of the flower displays. It is making me so excited!:yay: You have to do the "Donald duck boat ride" as my little gal says it with your little man. He'll love it! I think I lost track of how many times we rode it in August since she loved it so much and there's never a wait. Can't wait to do living with the land - never done that before.

Great Update!

I love all of the pictures from Living with the Land. That ride is so relaxing. My family hates it, so I usually sneak in a ride or two while they're on Soarin'.

Those Lion King topiaries are so cool! It's amazing what Disney can do with plants. I wish they'd leave them on display all year round. Or at least until July so I can see them in person! Or maybe I could have one made for the back yard... ;)

I actually despised LWTL at first, but it is actually starting to "grow" on me now,.

I love all of the beautiful pictures. It just looks so serene with the beautiful flowers and topiaries everywhere.

The woman in the first garden ornament picture is waving at you! :rotfl: Did you notice that????

Hey girl!! Wow, I think I need to get down there someday for the F&G Festival!! It looks so pretty!!

That's too bad you missed Soarin'! Oh well, there is always next time!! Living with the Land looks great. I bet Stephanie will go on that. She such a nerd about that kind of stuff. She just got her own condo and was beyond excited for this upside down garden thing she got.

You need to ride it again!

I'm glad you like that part too!

Thanks Liesa!

I haven't been to DLR, but I'll take your word for it! HA!

We've been on LWTL before and there was a part that smelled like fertilizer or something. Everyone else was like "EW! Oh my gosh that stinks!" And my family was like, "Ahh..smells like home!" HAHA

I can't wait for your trip either. Even though I do wish I was going with.

That will be cool for Cantina!

Thanks!! It is fun to see all the neat things they are growing!

Thanks! That is a good time to ride it to pass the time while they are on Soarin'!

It is amazing what they can do!

Haha, no pun intended?!

It was so beautiful that day!

I did notice that! She's either waving or doing something weird and I just caught her at the right moment. :rotfl:

You do have to see it sometime! The pictures don't do it justice!

Yeah, we have July!

Haha, sounds like she will like LWTL!

What bad experience did you have at Garden Grill? Once I saw that menu, I was kind of interested in it! Of course, I wouldn't want to be around when it rotates so that it's facing the scene with the buffalo! AGH!

Did you see the Hidden Mickey in the Biotechnology Lab? On the righthand side, there's a round test tube holder. The green ones make up a Mickey head!

DBF and I loved that they made the Lion King giraffes lean forward as if they were moving towards the crowd. Much cooler than just having them stand straight up!

Riding past the restaurant is my favorite part too! This time I waved but no one waved back, haha.

You can barely tell that it's rotating.

The whole meal was rushed for us. The characters rushed through everyone's tables. We barely saw our waiter. It just wasn't a very warm, welcoming experience.

Hey good eye for that hidden Mickey! :thumbsup2

That is cool how they made the giraffes.

Love all your pictures! The topiaries are amazing aren't they?

You said you were looking at the stands with the garden sculptures.... did you see a Mickey gnome? Mel bought one to put outside our house. We gave it to our friends to drive back to Indy with. We didn't want anything to happen to it on the plane. They are bringing it to us in May. :)

Can't wait to hear about LeCellier!

Yes, we did see the Mickey gnomes! They were so cute! That's so nice of your friends!
