I wish I could be about 45 pounds lighter between now and Thanksgiving
I wish I had naturally straight hair all year long
I wish I had more DVC points than I do now at this moment
I wish I could make up my mind and keep it there

See....I have a wishes schedule...none of them are keeping up with me though!!

Come on - that was funny and you know it!!! Seriously though, I do know what time Wishes is...the only way I'd have tried to keep that in mind was if going to CA Grill...otherwise I think my plan is to spend some grown up time at World Showcase...I think anyway...we'll see....

Great Hotels on the Travel Channel aired that Animal Kingdom Lodge episode yesterday...I "DVR'd" it as I don't recall seeing it before. Think I'll go watch it now...

Yes, I think we'll go to World Showcase after dinner either after Artist Point or Shula's...I think that the night we eat at Shula's is EMH at MGM so maybe we can hit that...I'd like a shot at being able to ride RNR together and not have to do the swap, etc...We'll see though. Never know with us!

Today my friend, was a change-free day!! Oh and yesterday too...I was volunteering at our local Habitat for Humanity's offices and was off line just about all day...after the shakes and the DT's wore off, I didn't feel too bad!

Tonight at dinner though, DH and I did discuss adding a night on to our stay to accomodate that WL sleigh ride! After shaking his head and repeatedly telling me that I'm sick and I've got a problem, I think he just gave up. I was surprised it was that easy...

Ha Ha...Borg...Resistance is futile!!!

We watched 2 hours of specials tonight on the travel channel - he's getting excited...

Hmmmm...wonder what tomorrow will bring!?!?

LOL Maybe that's how I can convince my husband to take a 2nd Disney trip at some point. If I just drive him crazy enough with "All Disney...All the Time" he'll give in Glad you're going to get to stay another night and fit in that sleigh ride. Sounds nice.

Oh yes, that's how it is around here...All Disney, All the time! I think there's only 27 days left or so until we leave.... Alas though..I'm falling behind - or I feel like I am. Normally I have suitcases strung all around my spare bedroom and have miscellaneous things pulled out - stuff we don't need to use now, like bathing suits, etc...I also usually have at least 2 lists going...my packing list and my shopping list. Right now I have neither. Hmmmm - I better get a move on...time's a wastin!

Actually now is the perfect time....I laid on the couch about 3:30 yesterday afternoon for a quick nap...it's now 3am. I awoke about 20 minutes ago...Amber Alerts going off on my cell phone every 5 minutes for some reason, but my point is I'm now wide awake. I should go upstairs and go to bed but I honestly don't think I would be able to sleep...

I also want to make some kind of list of all the things we missed in Jan/Feb thanks to our dead-beat, dead-weight guests.

Ok...off to it then....back shortly!!!

Well gang, I decided to give the nice folks at Disney Dining a weekend off for a change...hope they enjoyed it, as I'm planning on making a couple of changes (hopefully) at some point in the next day or two.

The more I think about it - how realistic is it for me to get my guys to Chef Mickey's around 7am? Honestly...they're just not that into the whole Disney experience that much I don't think. If they were, I'd have thought they'd have gotten up early at least ONCE our last trip. So, I'm thinking I may need to change that one.

AND, as much as I hate to do it, but I may need to let my sleigh ride go...

BUT just because I left the Disney Dining folks alone, didn't mean I left my poor DH alone. I told him about the sleigh ride and how it would add yet another night to our stay...he made that face that he makes when I come up with some hairbrained scheme. It looks like he's expecting something painful...a needle in the eye or something, but knows that it's inevitable, so you can also see him bracing himself within his pain...I came right out with the fact that yes, it would add another night to our stay...BUT we could stay somewhere off site and it would be cheaper. YES, that means we wouldn't get home until Sunday night and not have a day off to recover from our vacation as I'd have to go right back to work Monday morning, but I'm OK with that!! I ran the price of the sleigh ride by him - it's only $35!! No honey - that's not per person...it's the whole cost. How long? It's a half an hour...think about it...just over a dollar a minute...about the cost of a phone call!! Can I sell sand in the desert or what!?!?!

BUT I'm getting away from myself a bit. On the one hand I have the extra night on the back end...then I find out that DVC members have the chance to sort of reserve a seat for the taping at the castle stage on the 1st....from 7am to 12:30pm, yada yada yada...so like a madwoman I called, constantly checked the website...and gulp - made the call home...ran the whole thing by DH who said sure, if you can get tickets, fine...GREAT - GREEN LIGHT...then finally DVC announces there's a problem and you can't sign up yet...phew...I worked my whole day around constantly calling Member Services and checking the website, now I can get some work done. Then it hits me...did I mention to DH that if we do this, we'd need to add yet another day on to our stay, this time on the front end?

At dinner time I got the answer to that question...NO I didn't mention that small fact...with that...he had a flippie fit of his own...I tuned out most of it, but caught bits and pieces...blah blah blah you're out of control blah blah blah...whatever... If what he said was so important, I would have remembered it, right??? Yep - that's what I said too...

So, I wait to get a sign from Karma or divorce papers from DH...whichever comes first...

I don't know WHAT his problem is Tasha! I keep telling him to just "let go and let Disney" but he doesn't get it! Denial is not a river in Egypt!

OOOOOhhhhh...go for the 12 nights!! DO IT!!! I'm there for ya!!! Especially if it's your first trip...you'll want to pace yourself...a nice leisurely 12 day trip is the answer!!!! I'll back you up!! What are friends for?!?!?!?

LOL! Two things:

1. You have to be in charge of the finances (its more responcibility cuz I have to pay the bills and such, BUT I am very organized anyways and wouldn't trust him to keep track of everything on Quicken)

AND

2. Make sure he loves Disney too (mine loves it, not as much as I do, but he enjoys it, so as lng as we have $ he is game).
