Cuuuute shoes!

Ok, I've been following along (aka lurking) but just wanted to say TIKI BIRDS I thought it was soooo loud. I want to skip it this trip but DD16 says it is a must do. Teacups I laughed sooo hard on this ride. DD16 and DD14 were spinning us and when the ride was over I was afraid to get off because I thought I was jgoing to fall on my face.

Aw, I'm so glad that you de-lurked yourself! I thought the tiki birds were loud too! Haha, I bet your DD's had a fun time spinning you! See, that's one of the things I love about going to WDW. I get to be a kid again with my sister.

Attraction of the Day...

Monsters, Inc.

First of all, I have to say that the first time we went on this we were so SCARED to be picked. But, luckily we weren't. This past trip, we decided to go back on it to see if we liked it and we had a blast! For those of you who have been on it, you know that they pick on someone throughout the whole show. Well for us, the guy they kept picking on was getting so into it. It was just so funny. When they'd show him on the screen, he'd be like "WWHHHAT?!" It was one of those 'you had to be there' kind of moments.

See.. part of me would want to be picked.. just so I could have that memory..but at the same time its fun to laugh and enjoy the picking from the outside! hehe I think it would be hilarious if they chose my DH, he wouldn't know what to do! hehe

The Teacups

See.. I would want to ride this just because its from Alice.. and I LOVE that movie.. but honestly.. those things make me sick.. but I want a picture of it soo bad.. so maybe I'll just ride and pose! hehe

no memories of monsters inc. because ray and i dozed through it. it wasn't that we didn't like it - it's just that it was at that point in the day where we were beat and needed a break! i'm glad neither of us got picked. i would've been quite embarassing being picked and then having the camera on you half asleep!

LOL when we did Monsters in July, they flashed a picture of my mom on the screen with the caption "Has no idea where she is". We joked about it for the rest of the trip... any time my DM experienced any type of confusion whatsoever, one of us would say "has no idea where she is..." and we would crack up. It is probably one of those things you have to be there for, but still funny. She was SO embarrassed to be shown on screen!

Attraction of the Day...

The Judges Tent

I know this isn't a ride, but it counts as an attraction right? Okay, I think this was back in '99 but I'm not sure. We went to WDW over spring break and then I made it into Nationals for my tumbling team, so we got to go back to WDW in the summer. Over spring break, we went to the Judges Tent in Toontown and met all the princesses-my favorite was Belle. She was so nice and beautiful too! Then, we go back there over the summer trip and it was the SAME Belle! We told her that we had met her over spring break and she goes "Oh! I knew you girls looked familiar!" (Of course, now I know she didn't really mean it, but it was still cool.)

Never did the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor or the Judges Tent...I will DEFINITELY be doing the laugh floor in APril though and I hope they pick on Chris

Hey girl. Spring break went by fast. I miss my little guy. Oh and Friday, I took my sis to get her belly button pierced! I've been fighting a head cold all week and then this weekend, I started coming down with the flu or something. Last night I was up all night trying to puke and finally puked this morning. (I know TMI right lol) So I stayed home from school today. B/F's at the grocery store as I type this getting me saltine crackers and ginger ale and he said he's going to make me chicken noodle soup.

Oh my gosh, I remember going to Mickey's dressing room to meet him! I haven't been in the tent to meet characters in years, but I'm going to this year I'm going there to meet Tink!
