The Walt Disney World Railroad All Aboard!!

I also love the railroad as well.. idk what it is.. its just amazing. and relaxing.. :goodvibes

Primeval Whirl

Never done it- isn't that in AK by the dinosaur? I think I always though this was a kids ride.. maybe I'll have to try it.. though I don't care for jerky..

I think you have to sit in certain seats to get picked for Monsters, Inc.
You could just pose by the Teacups!

Well.. hmm I wonder how I can figure out what the special seats are- so I can "accidently" sit there.. err.. sit my DH there! hehe:laughing:

The Judges Tent
I also like this attraction. I am always curious "how" many there are of the characters and how similar they look.

Great ADR's and congratulations on getting those booked :thumbsup2

So many of the attractions of the day I haven't been on :( need to get back to WDW do them. I didnt ride the railroad at all when I went, but am making sure I tae a ride on it when I go to Disneyland :)

The railroad train was the very first thing we did when we went to WDW with our kids back in 2003. First park, first attraction..LOVED IT!!! We rode it around to toontown and started our day at the back end of the park.

I am so behind in your PTR but I just checked on your ADRs. We're doing the pm EMH at AK and Epcot on the same days, so we'll have to keep our eyes open and see if we run into each other!

Railroad...
I've only been on the WDW railroad once, but it was such a lifesaver when we did it. We had gone over to Goofy's, DSs fav ride, only to see that it was closed because the cars were being painted!:eek:DS had a major meltdown. We needed to completely alter the plans for the rest of the day, it was THAT bad. Not that he was having a fit, he was just so disappointed, we needed an intervention that would completely change the make up of the day.

The first thing we did was get on the RR to head on out of the park.

DS was totally distracted by the RR. He actually enjoyed the short ride a lot. We were able to redeem the day with a change in plans. I was so happy the RR was right there.:lovestruc

I am totally subscribing and going back to read all about your plans, we will be there June 23 - July 1! I can't wait to read this later! :thumbsup2

of course i've never rode the railroad! :headache:

Next yr we will definitely do 1900 PF since u guys love it so much. Also Chef Mickey's sounds cool because I've never done that one either and it just seems to be a classic. Maybe the Luau too? We'll see! :)

My test last night was a joke...the teacher is the worst teacher ever and I'm not just saying that so I can blame a bad grade on him. Hes honestly THE worst. Ever. The test I just took this morning was pretty good. I studied a lot for it (for me anyway) and I did basically everything right based on the notes I just looked at after it. I have another one at 1 today and then I'll be soooo much less stressed! How'd you do on all of yours did you find out yet? I'll text you when I get home later!! :goodvibes

You have to ride the railroad!

Oooh I can't wait to start planning our ADR's!

I'm so sorry about your test last night. I'm glad you think you did good on this morning's test!

I've never ridden the railroad either :lmao:

Hahaha, c'mon Mel!

Dad's quite proud of himself!

I'm glad to see someone else loves the railroad too!

Yep, Primeval Whirl is kinda by Dinosaur. It's nothing too exciting, so you're not missing much.

Great ADR's and congratulations on getting those booked :thumbsup2

Thanks! Glad you like the ADR's!

You HAVE to ride the railroad! I don't know if it's the same or different At Disneyland though.

Oh my gosh, I'll laugh if we run into each other!

The railroad is so nice! Glad it saved the day!

Well hello fellow IL DIS'er! :)

That's so exciting we'll be there the same time! Glad you find this PTR!

We haven't done the railroad a lot but it is very relaxing. On our trip in December we rode it on our last night...it was quite a different experience riding at night!

Oh yes, and yay for less than 90 days! :dance3:

I love the judge's tent, as well! A great place to see those ever-elusive princesses my girls just have to see!

I love the railroad. It is a perfect break for relaxing in the parks with a great view and a nice breeze!:goodvibes We alway hop on after SM and BTMRR and take a loop or two of the park.

The railroad is SO relaxing.

I can't believe we're 89 days now! :scared1:

Isn't it fun seeing how the little kids react? :goodvibes

There is always a nice breeze on the railroad! :goodvibes

Attraction of the Day...

Gran Fiesta Tour

I never really cared for this ride, but it's fun to do once in awhile. Do you guys like it better the way it was before or after they added Donald and his 3 friends?

88 days left!

Finally one I've done! I liked the old version better. Both are cheesy but the old one was a little more authenticly "Mexico." The new one's all about Donals. Cute, but nothing great. If there's no line we still like to go on it!

Haha, yeah the no line thing is nice. This past trip, if you remember from my TR, it started POURING so we ran in there because we were right by it. It was the first time I had ever seen a line for it. There isn't much room there for a long line, so the line was WAY out toward the little "outdoor" shopping area. It was crazy!

I like to ride through Mexico pretty much every trip. There's usually little wait, so it's something cool to do in the heat of the summer. I never can get any good pictures from there, though.

I think the Donald version is cute, but I work with kids all day, so I guess sometimes I think like a third-grader! The addition of Donald and friends doesn't stop me from looking at the scenery in the background, so I'm fine with it the way it is.

I love to look at the woodcraft out in the marketplace, but it's too expensive for me to buy. The pig banks are cute, too. I might end up buying one of those one day.

My favorite part of the ride? When you first go by the restaurant and stuff! Gorgeous.

Yea the waiting area's so small, they don't have room for a long line! :lmao:
