I to have only been to AK once. and only saw a little of the parade
i think anywhere is fine but i prefer to be near the entrance to the park so i can leave once it's over!i hear in africa you can see the parade twice.
the "one week from today" game is the best!
I've never seen that parade. We've only been to AK once and we were finished with the park before the parade even started. We decided to go back to the hotel for a swim.
I can't wait for the one week from today! I may have to steal, I mean borrow, that idea over on my PTR!

Question of the Day...
Where's the best spot to watch Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade at AK?
Tomorrow: Tomorrow, I will start doing a '1 week from today' update. They will feature some pictures and what I'm excited about doing 1 week from that day.

I'll have to scope out the best exacts in July, but for now I'll just advise that if you find a place where there is no viewing area on the opposite side of the street you are on, then all the characters will be turned toward your side all the time as they go by. Does that make sense? There are some little patches of spots like that just because of the way AK is laid out, and if you can find one, then you don't have to get just the backsides of some characters that happened to be waving to the other side of the crowd as they pass you.
Yoir time has almost come!!!![]()
I've only seen it once, when my class and I were on a field trip to AK (yeah, my school was awesomewe got to talk to one of the guys who helped build EE!) I don't even know where we were standing, but wherever it was we had a great view because there wasn't a soul in sight.
That's so cool you got to talk to one of the guys who helped build EE!
I don't think Ive ever seen the parade at AK!! But my favorite spot to watch Wishes/Spectro is on Main Street! Ive also watched spectro from the funnel cake place just over that little wooden bridge by liberty squareI've had the worst day ever, I wish I was about to go to Disney! IM SO JEALOUS OF YOU!!!!
My teacher was actually one of the imagineers that worked on Blizzard Beach. It is amazing talking to him and asking about the whole process. That was my favorite class ever (we had a test on the Haunted Mansion and we took a class trip to AK, how could it not be my favorite?!)
Ah I didn't answer yesterdays questions!
My favorite spot to watch Wishes from is right in front of the castle! Yeah its busy but I think you get the best views and angles from there. Spectro I only saw once and we watched it from right in front of the castle too. I think I'd prefer to watch it from somewhere else though.
I never saw the parade in AK but I want to in Nov/Dec because it will be the Jingle Jammin Jungle Parade then![]()
1 week from today...
1 week from today we will be saying "Adios!" to home and heading out on the road to Nashville!
I'm looking forward to going to the mall and eating here:

I'm also looking forward to meeting MeMom, Dawn, and hopefully Jill and the girls!
Question of the Day...
If you can, tell me one interesting fact that you've learned that has to do with anything at WDW!

I can't take credit for this one. It comes from "The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World" by Susan Veness.
"Spaceship Earth: This attraction was designed with a runoff system that prevents water from reaching the ground when it rains. Each panel funnels water away from the surface, eventually emptying into the World Showcase lagoon."
Isn't that just amazing! I always wondered why water wasn't pouring down on guests when it rained. I highly recommend this book to any Disney fanatic, like myself. "The Walt Disney World Trivia Book" by Louis A. Mongello is also a great book!
The sleeping monk in Spaceship Earth was once President Taft in the HoP.
oooh Rainforest Cafe! Yummm! Love that picture of you guys too!
An interesting thing I have learned about WDW comes from allears.net and it was in my TR. There's a miniature shrine in AK that lines up directly with the same peaks and angles as Everest. There's a picture on my TR too![]()
Hmm an interesting fact..OOOH I just read about this in the new Disney secrets book. If you go on Thunder Mountain at night, when you pass the past when you go through the saloon. You can see people having a party in there. bit during the day it is empty. Something like that.
Cute picture of you guys! The Rainforest Cafe is awesome.
Hooray for only one week...I bet you are excited.
Let's see, an interesting fact about WDW...The Enchanted Tiki Room was originally going to be a restaurant with a show. Learned that from the Imagineering Field Guide!
Hey, that's our Rainforest!
We'll see you there Saturday evening around 6:30, I guess. We'll just hang out at the hippo and wait on you, if you're running late. I think the latest roll call is Jill, Brooklynn, Bella, and me, then Dawn, Erica, and maybe stasieki and her daughter.
Have an exciting week ahead as you get ready to go on this much anticipated journey of fun!
Hey girl! I'm so sorry I haven't been around on your TR lately. Life had taken a turn and I wasn't able to get on the DISboards as much, but I'm back!
I can't believe your trip is only a week away! Yaaaay!![]()
