Today we headed off for breakfast at Boma and a chance to check out the AKV development. So we drove to AKL and valet parked with our DVC card :teeth: It was then time to head down for breakfast which I had booked the previous afternoon for 8.30am. We were seated by 8.45am and then it was time to attack the buffet once we had ordered Frunch and hot tea.

After several visits for a varied breakfast we settled the bill and had a wander round by the pool and then to the 5th floor. It was clear that work was progressing in the main lodge as the left hand trail was all blocked off with tarps. We then wandered round and could see that across the Sunset Trail construction on Kidani Lodge was well under way :)

We were now glad we had bought at AKV :thumbsup2 After having had a good look AKV including at the area at the far end of the parking lot, we headed off to Walmart.

Shopping in Walmart was not quite as we had seen previously so we soon headed off to the outlets on the 535, which we found to be quite quiet compared to the PO. We also found the nearer Walmart on the 535 but again it didn’t have what we wanted :( So off to PO again and this time I got a couple of little perfumes. It was a lovely afternoon so upon returning to SSR we had a dip in the pool.

Until the sun started to sink too low for any heat and then showered and decided to go to our favourite off site restaurant, Red Lobster. The restaurant was not too busy and we were seated within 10 minutes of so. It was then time for the Cheddar Bay Biscuits :thumbsup2

Followed by Caesar salad for me.

And Garden salad for Nathan.

We decide to share the appetizer of breaded mozzarella, chicken strips and seafood stuffed mushrooms.

It was then time for entrée and I had the grilled shrimp with snow crab legs.

Nathan did want the Rainbow Trout but it was off the menu so it was salmon with fries.

Feeling full by the end we didn’t order dessert and headed back to SSR for a Smirnoff Ice on the balcony.

Hope you are feeling okay.

Lovely report, though I didn't fancy those snow crab legs. Were they easy to eat?
